Velocity response to something timbre related is something I always wish software and hardware synths have a dedicated easily accessible knob to, but is often hidden in menus. Having several of them is amazing.
I really like the quick core-dump of features in the first ~6 minutes of the video. In some ways the synth reminds me of the core of the Digitone. The market is crowded, but the fact this has both VST and iPad versions makes it attractive.
@@alchemistrpm82 I bought the synth on PC first then waited for a Bleass iOS sale and went in (Omega, Alpha, SampleWiz 2, effects). The prices are excellent; not much to quibble about IMO.
Great presentation as per usual. In my view, this is the slickest layout of FM in VST format. Simple to grasp and manipulate, while still having a measured amount of depth to explore. From the hardware side of things, the only bits of kit laid out in similarly understandable fashion would be the Reface DX and the Digitone.

Dear VT, please can you possibly tell us how this BO synth compares in terms of 1. Learning curve? 2. Sophisticated it is for creating new sounds it is, compared to similar N.I. FM8, which I believe you have, and the free Dexed? Thx
If you like the ideas behind this and want to see it done by a different developer, be _sure_ to check out Sugar Bytes' Aparillo and, optionally, Factory. First one is the most alive FM implementation I've ever heard in my life.
I love Bleass effects. I own a lot of them and they’re very useful and light on the CPU. Id pick up some of their synths but they’re usually a bit pricey for what they are. Compare that to cherry audio synths which are no brainer prices out the gate.i already own several 8 operator FM synths (Ableton, NI and Rob Papen) so do i really need one more? If the price was right Id buy it but not at how they’ve priced it now. Maybe ill wait until they make a synth bundle or have a good sale. Great demo though as always.
It cannot - but as mentioned the free Dexed synth can load DX7 patches. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't! Omega is a bit more of a modern twist on FM, but retains the simplicity of something like the DX7 minus a few additional operators and a couple other odds and ends.
Another JUCE plugin that doesn't run on my OS... this is getting old :# Would've been tempted to spend my money otherwise, but will stick to Dexed for my FM needs.
2 minutes of sound demos with 10 different sounds included, most of them bad, so if that's what the synth is capable of, no thanks. However if it's just a bad representation of what's possible, then that's unfair on the dev. 13 minutes of talking. FFS. This was torture for a plugin video. Lesson learned.
Maybe it's time I look into some iOS music production stuff...? 🤔
Want to explore Omega? 👉www.bleass.com/omega/
There’s a pretty nice amount of very cheap apps that are surprisingly good
So high quality so often. Cameron you are superhuman ❤️
What I like about your videos is the way in which you seem to happy & jolly, smiling & laughing all the time!🤣😂
I have all of their effects, been thinking about getting this. Let’s gooooo ⚡️
This seems like a great way to get familiar with FM. 📻

I’d love to see a complimentary iOS license for desktop buyers. But so far nobody does that afaik.
@@alchemistrpm82 Would be good but very unlikely as from a business standpoint.

@@MathHammer Not complaining about their price point

I picked up Apparillo a few weeks ago. Im a big fan of sugar bytes stuff. Always mad ways to modulate stuff.
Omega does sound cool.
Played iPad only once this year. All fault to WFH! but I have few Bleass apps.
the last fuckin thing i need in my studio is another soft synth
it's got some nice grit to if for an FM, seems a bit more wavetably :-)
This needed to happen a long time ago
So funny man! 🤣💯👍

crap, one day late for the intro sale. guess I will wait until the next one :/
Sorry I have a question about your production. Are you over dubbing ? How are you recording your voice sounds amazing and no mic on screen !
He's in the Matrix. That's how he can lip sync perfectly.
GOnna grab it now for free! 😀
Can it load dx7 sysex patches?
dx7 is 6-op. You can use Dexed for that, anyway.

I was hoping you were going to quote the original song
Looks like a "Want to be" Digitone VST -
