great video, a rare find. I don't recall ever seeing a 5610 on the harvester even back in the 90's, bigger fords and zetors were popular for that job in my area. Seems to be coping very nicely.
Great drivers who are good to their machines and know how to get the best out of them. Well done. A big task for the 5610, hope you keep the oil changed.
It's great that you are capturing little bits of history. So many others only want to film the new shiny stuff. Mind you, I wouldn't want to go back to those days now.
Awesome video, older equipment is a very nice change from the large industrious machines of the today's farming. Sort of vintage video of today's farming :)
The Ford 5610 is 72 hp cant believe it can drive the harvester so easily I had a 85 hp international driving a tarrup double chop and it used to b working hard great little Ford
It doesnt matter how old, rusty and tatty these machines are!!!You know when you hitch them up, get the grease gone out, they will do another season for sure..cant beat the old ones.Cracking vid well done. (Its always those just by chance,in passing that make the best vids)
Nice, Alan. Love hat setup with it all, nice lot of classics with the double chop, my uncle used to work for a company who did the harvesters, I will tell you via email.

Massive debt might be the very reason between running the tack they currently have than having a fleet of masseys with ridiculously large trailers with a Claas 30000.

A step back in time. Brilliant video Alan, a rare sight now.

Thanks 👍
Great to see the classics
It certainly is!

No, me, too - but it's nice to keep the memories alive.
Great vid 5*. Nice 2 get a change from the big machinery @ silage.

These machines are like junior B hurlers - they always have "another season in them"😂
:)

My word, that's so far back I can't remember that one!
A wonderful change!! Such nice people, too. Could have stayed all day filming, but we were on our day out on the Gower.

Thanks Tim. Sounds interesting.
Yes, the old ones are the best ones!!!!!!!!
Great one Alan.
New to me,mowing and lifting with the same machine.

Hendrik
Thanks very much. "The old ones are the best ones"
Cant beat the old gear.
Correct!
That's very true
Beautiful.... What more can I say?
that silage outfit isn't that old it's only 20 years ago since that's all anyone had.5* video alan
great to see old kit still being used! where was this alan?
I don't recall seeing a Tafe 35. Which video was it in?
Yes, I'd totally forgotten. I thought it was a MF 35 but you could be right. There's not a lot of difference.
Right, got you. You seem to have difficulty with single - very busy today?
Thanks JJ. A good find, I thought, too.
This is proper,
mint vid
Agree with you, Sir!
Thanks Mike - what do you mean "Don't double etc." You mean there isn't any?
Thanks very much.
Seems that old because we were using that sort of gear 45 years ago, only smaller tractors!
Thank you. Yes, I felt it was a rare sighting and likely to become more so.
great vid 10* a rare sight these days

Thanks Eamonn. You would be correct, no doubt, but I find trailed easier and quicker to write!
Makes a lot of sense!
Thanks Brian.
Very nice Alan! Don't double/signal chop silage round here.
Thanks, and agreed.
Thanks Hans - I agree.
It's certainly not beset with massive debt! Family labour and all kit paid for!
The forager is a NH 339
Thanks very much.
yo tengo la serie lll Ford 5610 fabricado en Inglaterra... una maquina increíble sencilla pero confiable a toda prueba...
Can't remember but I have an idea it was a Zetor.
Ford 5000 did work way back in early times but the 5600 is at her lesure
Yes, I used to plough with 5000 (Select-o-speed)
What about "Fantastically talented photographer" ? :) Anyway, many thanks.
at the end of this video. or is it a MF 35? badge looks round like a Tafe one
Was the Tafe 35 also on the Gower?
Agree entirely
On the Gower, near Swansea.
Now u said it!!
You, too! You must be older than you look! :)
Yes i ment to say "don't see double/singal chop"
quite right just seems that old
Quite possibly.
Bolixing at its very best
?
its a double chop,not a single chop
Massive debt might be the very reason between running the tack they currently have than having a fleet of masseys with ridiculously large trailers with a Claas 30000.
540-1000 o-m
Are you quite certain?
Thanks very much
