I played this recently at main event and it plays like ps2/gamecube era nba live games. It is much different to nba jam and nba street. I wasn’t that impressed but it was fun when playing against friends. I prefer more of the simulation style nba 2k but even that is getting ridiculous with the online currency crap.
Hey you said you took back the arcade1up due to the emulation. What about it didn't you like? I play Hangtime on it and I thought that A1up would have done better with the quality of the product. Full rosters, putting breaking backboard in Jam TE along with putting shaq in there and the MK characters since they had the rights to MK (see NBA Jam TE rewind hack video), etc. I thought about paying for this superstars cab and making it Hangtime instead of this game. But I found out that someone from Midway was a programmer on the game so I passed. Didn't want to feel cheated anymore LOL This basically looks like NBA Showtime with an extra player.

ya took some time to get use to the controls but I loved the new graphics and gameplay aspects of it.
That screen seems small for the size of the cabinet. It should be twice as big. Maybe pull the screen closer to the control panel.
