Super nice tutorial! I just have one question: in 3:19 your eye mask is automatically tracking the eye, this didn't work when I tried it. Is it supposed to be automatic?
Mann everything worked smoothly, until the last part with the glow. I do exactly as the tutorial but after masking and putting the Curves effect, I do not see any change. (I tried different effect as well, cannot see any change I do) =( Thank you for the tutorial though! Other than that everything was perfect!
Did you change the blending mode? If that doesn't work you can probably try to duplicate the original footage and just add a curves or exposure effect, it should still give a similar look

When you hit "U" on the null layer are there any keyframes? If not, maybe you didn't apply the track to the null layer
