Love Turbo but Kartye does the same job better for a third of the cap hit. Hate to see him go but it makes so much sense to unload him

Yeah it’s time. It’s been fun.

Totally agree - love him but the practical choice is to let him go.

I also like the Duclair idea.

The McGroarty and Gauthier situations coupled with Philadelphia getting Michkov to come over sooner than expected definitely adds consideration if drafting NCAA players can be as risky as drafting Russians.

DUCLAIR!!! For the Sharks being awful this last year he was stunning still. Kraken have such hot hands but yeah we need bodies to make room and clear lanes.

"Well yes it is RJ! Like you said, Free Agency sucks and is terrible and we shouldn't be doing it anyway!" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Well done guys! Truly, one of the best episodes.

RJ, maybe we'll be on the same flight. 😂

What’s with the continued deference to the current vets? How is there only room to bring in 1 fa? That’s Hakstol thinking. Is Bylsma supposed to just run back the same crew with a couple of rookies and that’s that? The best way to light a fire under these guys - including Matty, btw - is to promote the idea that the cushy days are done. If you don’t perform, you’re gone or you can sit in the press box if RF can’t unload you. 29th in scoring is abysmal, the thought of running back basically the same crew is appalling

These teams push off the start of the ELCs on these college guys and it bites them in the butt. It’s an expectation of the highly drafted guys to start the clock after the sophomore year like Seattle did with Beniers and Buffalo did with Power. It’s millions of $ 3 years down the road vs 4 years. No wonder they bristle when teams screw around with them

No way should Kraken give Toffoli 9...as bad as Buffalo giving Skinner 8

I'm a Michigan fan and love Rutger. My understanding is he wants to join the NHL right away as other Michigan players have in recent years. I'm not sure it is the amount of ice time but he doesn't want to go to the AHL

Free agents I like are Pesce or Skjei. I'm not keen on the Kraken bottom 2 on defense. I like Martinook as a depth forward. I'm not sure how much chance Kraken have on those top guys. Maybe Lindholm

The bottom 2 is Dumoulin and Evan. Seems pretty ok to me. We do need a 7th D though.

Lindholm fell off once gaudreau and tkachuk left … never once drove a line by himself

If the other team's goalie is way better than yours,
then you are not the more talented team.

Francis is far too conservative. He has plenty of prospect/draft capital and an NHL roster full of middling forwards…time to make some trades and clear out this roster.
