Happy new year Sam! I hope you and your family had a great start to 2024. The Seiko Speedtimer and Sportsmatic just stole the show for me. OMG!!! Gorgeous. Onwards and upwards! Best regards, TGV
I really appreciate that this collection feels like watches you like as opposed to ticking boxes with the appropriate higher named brands every other RUclips collector seems to have.
Sam - Happy New Year. That Citizen Bullhead looks amazing. I am working on a vintage Citizen Bullhead with cal 8110a built from parts. Should be very interesting when done. Keep up the great work and thanks for all you do for the watch community in posting your content. John S
Great video Sam and you know I love to see how people’s collections evolve! Interesting to see the “will he/wont he” when it comes to keeping/selling the GS;)
Nice collection, Sam. And yes, I remember you asking me, if my Jack Mason was a fashion watch, back at the FB group. I told you at that time: "wait until you get your hands on one" Your endorsement of CW makes want one.
That's cool that CW wanted to give you a gift, and of course you disclose it so there's no problem. I'm glad for you because that looks like a really sweet titanium diver. For me, another highlight was the Citizen Eco-drive w/ perpetual calendar & moon phase (BY1010-81L). Very nice! Quartz is great at making complications easy & accessible.
An excellent ground level view throughout the year. Thank you for not being pompous, all knowing or money obsessed. You deserve many more subscribers and views in the year ahead.
Well done! One would think that a collection comprised of pieces one actually wears plus gift/family watches would be more common. While it’s an oft stated goal most of us fall well short of pulling that off. Kudos for evolving, curating and sharing. I hope to take a gander at the ones you’re cycling out.
I don’t see a problem with accepting a watch from CW, and I applaud you for disclosing it here. Do you plan to add a disclaimer every time you review one of their watches in the future?
Yep, I will. I have 17 CW videos on my channel and this is the first Watch they ever sent me! I like the brand and what they are doing so happy to spread their message!
Unfortunately that one is tied to me, but the person who brokered the watch and the person who repaired it! I actually recently took it to kennedy space center
Beautiful Date Just...love the green dial. Great sentimental collection. Speedtimer is such a classic keeper. I really like CW...I don't understand why all major watch brand bracelets don't have adjust on the fly.
Great vid CW! Interested to hear all about your GMWB5600D replacement strap with deployant clasp. Checking Ali I haven't found the strap with this clasp, did you snag it from a different strap? I'm looking to add a more colorful strap to my GM5600SN-1 "Tokyo Nights" metal G square.
I love that Christopher Ward Titanium, and I agree I love Day/Date complications. I could never go with a no/date watch outside of perhaps a dress watch.
Hey Jack! I had two watches this year that I sold to colleagues at my work; that was one of them! Great watch but my good friend at work loved it more 😂
Love the Seiko Speedtimer. A beautiful vintage piece. Also starting to love Datejusts and yours looks gorgeous. Great collection review here Sam. Hope you’re enjoying 2024 so far ✊
I went into one of the boutiques, I distracted the guy then replaced his glove with another unbranded one I had. A few people have done this… its called the ‘JLC Switch and Reverso’ 🤣
Brand names are a funny thing. I absolutely want to get a Jack Mason - the watches looks great and the name sounds cool and manly. Christopher Ward however I would never buy, or even accept as a gift. Just can't stand the name. Sounds like a British manufacturer of kitchen appliances.
I would love for you t see one 'in hand' they are honestly fantastic. The omit the name from the dial now and the bel canto doesn't even have the logo on the dial.
I agree with the branding. It sounds like a fashion brand to me. Then I learned the actually Christopher ward wasn’t a maker but a t shirt importer who just decided to start a watch company with 2 other guys.
It's a shame that Jack Mason went with a glidelock style instead of ratchet system. If you pull on the back of the glidelock slidey end of the clasp the whole thing just opens up and slides loose. Terrible. I don't know how anyone let Rolex get away with it.
The clasp on the Strat-O-Timer is one of the best things about the watch. That mechanism functions smoothly and makes the clasp amazingly slim. It's worth it.
Happy new year Sam! I hope you and your family had a great start to 2024.
The Seiko Speedtimer and Sportsmatic just stole the show for me. OMG!!! Gorgeous.
Onwards and upwards!
Best regards,

Thanks TGV! Happy new year and appreciate you watching!
Let's start a crowdfund campaign to buy Sam a second glove😀😀😀
I think he would gLove that.
😂
I really appreciate that this collection feels like watches you like as opposed to ticking boxes with the appropriate higher named brands every other RUclips collector seems to have.
very nice collection.... cheers
Cheers Craig!
Happy New Year Sam! Thank you for sharing your collection...definately the largest it has ever been.
Would love to see the video of the gshock with the red strap
Ok let me see what I can do!
Happy New Year Sam🎉
Great work.
Love the G-shock with the red band!

Thanks John! happy new year to you also!
Great video Sam and you know I love to see how people’s collections evolve! Interesting to see the “will he/wont he” when it comes to keeping/selling the GS;)
He will 🤣
the metal G with the red band looks amazing
Your CWC needs a battery change! Great collection. I’ll be posting mine up tomorrow. 😊
I noticed that during the edit!
That C60 elite is a stunner! I'd love to see CW experiment with a more restrained version of the titanium c60 as well.
Nice collection, Sam. And yes, I remember you asking me, if my Jack Mason was a fashion watch, back at the FB group. I told you at that time: "wait until you get your hands on one" Your endorsement of CW makes want one.

@@CasualWatchReviews you are welcome! I hope you bring back the podcast 👍🏻
I love that citizen. It’s no slouch and it’s quite a chunk of money.
Love those Casio edifice. Don’t bother with the competition, just send me one 😂😂

That’s already too many for me 😂

@@CasualWatchReviews Good for you. Again, I see nothing wrong with accepting a watch from them, as long as there’s transparency.
Love that Seiko Speedtimer. When you want to sell that I'll buy it 🙂
Unfortunately that one is tied to me, but the person who brokered the watch and the person who repaired it! I actually recently took it to kennedy space center
Its probably the best condition I've seen in 10yrs@@CasualWatchReviews
Did you see the review I did, a lot of great closeup shots.
Yeah I fell in love then. Still hoping you'll flip. Not like you dont have a track record 🙂@@CasualWatchReviews

Totally agree about the bracelets, thanks for watching!

1000% agree!
Hello, where did you buy the Casio red watch strap? Can you please give me the address?
Nice 👍
Did you not purchase/keep the Magnum PI watch?
😮 State of the collection paid 😂! Great mate
Hey, thanks for watching. I'm not sure what mean however?
Nice
Enjoyed this, but where did you nick that JLC glove from? 😂
I went into one of the boutiques, I distracted the guy then replaced his glove with another unbranded one I had. A few people have done this… its called the ‘JLC Switch and Reverso’ 🤣
@@CasualWatchReviews love it mate 🤣
Good to know that you have a bigger wrist than You’re Terrific! Haha
Oh really! He is doing so well on RUclips!
You’re money and you don’t even know it 👊🏻
Cheers mate!

I don't have any experience of this happening, not with Rolex or the Jack Mason
