@@Darkell-c3obeat Roman?....not a fan of Cody but atleast he was built for the that position..Finn balor is arguably a midcarder by the time he face Roman
It’s just dumb. He was the first ever universal champion, and y’all punished him and pushed him down for what, accidentally getting injured? Like it’s wrestling that can happen at any moment but it doesn’t mean you should just never let him shine again 🤦♂️
I really hoped that Finn Balor betrayal on Damian Priest would catapult him to main event level, and their match at bad blood would deliver. It didn't happen, and finn is not booked as strong as he should
I'm just here to say I was a huge Edge fan growing up and still to this day but he should have put over Finn at Wrestlemania. That would've been his career-defining moment since becoming the inaugural universal champion.
The only thing worse than knowing Finn Bálor's run on the main roster was bad when Vince McMahon was in charge is knowing that his run on the main roster is still bad with Triple H in charge. Sure Bálor is a multi-time tag team champion and had multiple world title matches, but we all thought he would be world champion if Triple H took over because of how Finn Bálor was booked in NXT. The only person who has it worst than Finn Bálor (and I mean way worse) is Shinsuke Nakamura, because Johnny Gargano, Tomasso Ciampa, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn were tag champs under Triple H, Sami Zayn was also Intercontinental Champion under Triple H, but Shinsuke Nakamura hasn't won so much as a number one contender's or qualify match under Triple H, let alone a title.
I believe Finn isn’t done! He’s done so much for others over the years and he’s an absolute goat at his craft. I think they’ll spin him into a world title picture by the time judgement day splits fully! Him & KO deserve a solid little world title run more than anyone right now. & Drew but he’s got multiple of them.
He's arguably the best, most important Irish wrestler of all time. Go to Wikipedia and read thru his bio. Look at his experience, his accolades and title wins, the influence and legacy he left at various wrestling companies, and how he personlly trained wrestlers who've gone on to become champions. I wish he had a more unique, charismatic gimmick in WWE. He has stated before that his demon character is probably retired and he isn't looking to bring it back anytime soon. It's frustrating when world class talent gets shuffled off to the side in WWE. Balor, Gable, Ford, Ciampa, Nakamura, Benjamin, Raven, DDP, Ziggler, and others have been brushed aside over the years when they should've been written better or given more interesting gimmicks.
Finn is another Ziggler. Seeing this video, puts it all in perspective. I used to think i was tripping through the years with him. Around the time with him and Roman's first match is when I made the connection
Like Dolph and Shinsuke. Finn is easily one of the biggest missed opportunities in WWE. And honestly there really is no chance for him to be world champion again. Especially with people like Gunther, Jey, Cody and so many others in the spotlight.
I think the only saving grace for him is too turn face and bring back the demon. I know the demon doesn’t have the same aura as before, but maybe people can be receptive to him.
I hate they did this, Finn is still my favorite guy on the current roster they botched him so bad, he's so talented and has that it factor, he's just been a judgement day lackey since he lost to Edge (who he should've beat), he could've been a top guy, Balor Club forever
Well demon king is a baby face. And i can see him lesving judgement day and returning to this soon. He didn't come out to help JD on Raw snd he also walked off when Dom was getting his number one contenders match. So i can see this happening and hopefully he can hahe a wotld title run in the near future
Part of it was WWE, part of it was his With wanting to not do the demon anymore brought him down due to how long it took to do the demon makeup, His injuries brought him down more. And he kept on with certain things that kept lowering his career so he's to blame for it too. While WWE like some people have said does this to a main eventer into a mid carder sidekick too.
Taking 6 hours to do the makeup is a small part when he was the demon he lost to Roman in the worst way possible which buried it and to make it worse he lost again to the old man edge the demon is officially done for this man’s nxt runs were better than his wwe runs
What bothers me is Finn Balor is so talented an he has to job to Damien Priest all the time no disrespect to Damien Priest but hes not as talented as Finn Balor not even close Finn Balor should have been money in the bank an multiple time champion
finn has been now given the role kane had in 2000s and ziggler in 2010s he is just there to put others over might win midcard titles or tag titles but not more than that
It's not impossible for him to become a star again. It's only a matter of if he wants that of if people care enough to give him that. If they can revive the career of a B tier talent like Bronson Reed, elevate him, and make him a star, they can do the same for a A+ tier talent like Finn Balor. He can still go in the ring, has more than decent promo skills, & people clearly still care about him. It's only the matter of pushing him to the moon, giving him the ball, and letting him run with it!!! I don't think Hunter will let Finn end his career without another title run. He's to great of a guy and has put over way to many talents to let that happen.
It's too late for him to be a top guy....he can win world title and lose it but it's too late for him to be a long lasting main eventer they wanted him to be in 2016
He needs to leave JD it’s obvious in wwe’s eyes that Damien is their guy and Rhea is probably the most popular minus Finn he can still be a heel but there’s no place for him in JD
Not WWE, Triple H. His the booker in charge of Balors horrendous booking since he joined JD. Vince didn't use Finn that much sure but at least he won singles titles and still had some credibility to become a world champion under him. Since Triple H took over creative he made certain that Balor lose all credibility to be anything but a coward and loser who jobs most of the time. Dude isn't even the leader of his own supposed faction, it feels more like Liv is the leader and she loses all the time as well. Triple H's booking sucks but too many people are too gullible to see that
I’m sorry, but I think all of the information in this video is completely false and misleading. WWE did *NOT* destroy Finn Bálor’s main event potential at all…but Vince McMahon, and *HE* alone did. It was *HIM* who didn’t see Bálor as a potential main event star in WWE, not Triple H, or anyone else who was on their creative team back when *HE* was still in charge. Not only that, by the time Vince finally had to step down as its Chairman and CEO, and then give up complete control of this company to Triple H, Nick Khan and the TKO group, it was *FAR TOO LATE* for *THEM* to fix the mess that *HE* made. It was Vince McMahon alone who set Finn Bálor up for failure as a possible main event star, and not WWE as a whole.
Edge should've lost and put Finn over. That would've helped Finn a lot. I think triple h is gonna give him another push. And that could be why Finn is staying in WWE.
While I think there's still a chance for Finn Balor, he should definitely get a new finisher. Damian Priest absolutely buried his finisher the last time they faced by no selling multiple of them, and he made it look like a joke
I think it's time for Finn Balor to go away from WWE and maybe go to TNA or AEW and even go back to NJPW. WWE did not know how to book him and wasted his potential.
