    I can't believe how fast 27 years go by. Sometimes when you stayed home sick from school or just stayed home because you were sick of school. I would be watching this for sure during the original NBC run.

      I remember the original with Hugh Downs. 60 years goes by even faster than 27.

    Looks like I was off by a couple of days. The actual airdate was February 5, 1991. They were postponed a couple of days on January 17-18 due to Gulf War coverage.

    They need to show the old episodes on GSN. Great shows in the late 1980s early 1990s.

      If that were true, GSN would have done it years ago. No. Only Buzzr can. And only Buzzr is necessary. We don't need GSN anymore.

    Exactly! 2/1/91 fell on a Friday, and Alex said they were wrapping up another week, so you've got it.

    Nick, I just did some research via tv.com, and I can tell you this: This episode of "Classic Concentration" originally aired on February 1, 1991. The promo for the Unsolved Mysteries seen here aired five days later.

    I guess the judges must have been in a really good mood on this episode's taping since Bill said the wrong words when he solved the puzzle in the 1st round. Also, which format do you folks think was better? The two out of three version or the one where there were 2 main games and 2 car rounds?

    • @NickCMedia
      @NickCMedia  11 лет назад +4

      Well, I liked the format(s) with 2 puzzles and 2 car games. But it would've worked better if they used the same two contestants on the same episode, and the contestant with the most winnings would compete on the next show (if they tie, they return on the next).

    11:30? Makes sense, given I rarely ever watched TPiR at that age. Once this show went back to reruns, Family Feud Challenge was the choice game show.
