I don’t see any ‘immigrants’ starting their day by wandering the streets getting pissed like those three peasants at the beginning. One woman in a headscarf is responsible for that, is she?
I grew up in that area. Im 43 & it always had an immigrant community. They were respectful, worked & contributed. The schools also did a lot to integrate & raise awareness of the different cultures. Many factors contributed to the rapid downfall of the Gresham, Ayresome & town centre area we see here. The council moving out long standing residents & issuing compulsory purchase orders only to leave perfectly adequate housing rot for 15-20 years didn't help. When the council flattened large council estates, Whitney banks, Grove Hill & others, what was left of the town & areas of Linthorpe became the next available affordable housing for those on a low income. Those able to buy didn't want outdated & basic 2 up 2 down housing with no gardens or driveway for their cars. A lot of what you see is a result of poverty & the council not giving a toss.

Few of the local bag heads at the start… Middlesbrough centre is another world from what it was 20 years ago… houses in that area are used by migrants or students.. the council are slowly starting to pull it all down. Other areas mentioned at the start are not as bad as that.. possibly with the exception of south bank and grange town. Just council areas but most people are friendly. Some nice places in Middlesbrough just not many.
Middlesbrough has a Labour council which it is why it's so shit. Labour don't represent the working class. I would ask any Labour MP to live amongst this.

Get to Bangladesh Bill! Lovely yard
Yes Bill, any chance u can do one in Cardiff one day?
State of all that rubbish in back street. What the fuck? You’re right Billy , if you walk about looking shook you WILL get pounced on. Mind you different ball game being down there at closing time rather than early morning / afternoon. Great vid as ever pal. 👍🏼.
@@neilmoore5387 night in boro is ruthless guaranteed!!!!!
@@MathewSmit Oh I can well imagine it is. These people when they’re walking about in day will be sound , sure Billy can handle himself but all these other vids of folk in Scampia , Naples etc look like they’ve cleared the streets so they can film. Someone filming there wouldn’t last two minutes you’d think. The place featured on Gomorah about the Camorra. Nobody about. At least Billy engages with locals.
Rough as fuck place worked there few rime horrible place
Middlesbrough is the capital of Cleveland an d look at it a shit hole
You need to be down there midday and in an evening it's 10 times worse
You know your a big Lad & Can Handle yourself when your approach is
“IS THIS THE ROUGHEST AREA IN BORO LADS”
And they talk away to ya 😂
Thought you were SCOUSE & Not English lol ✌🏼😂🏴
Done a lot of work on refineries, chemical plants and power stations in that area.
The people are great, shame it has been left to rot.
Get to Port Clarence 👍
I used to rent a room in Hartlepool, Outon manner. Another tough place.
I am from a neighbouring town and often go there, I quite like Linlorpe road, there are some nice pubs and restaurants off there and around. The Dorman museum is good too, I like going in their Cafe in it's oldie worldy theme. I like the Antiques shop across from it, and lovely Albert park.
On the other hand it's got one of the highest crime rates in the uk.
Hard life's theses people live 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I moved away from.there 10 years ago it's OK if you're from around there but strangers don't get a chance
Can't beat the communal street sofa ,have wear a hazmat suit to sit on the thing but ,depends what you used the hazmat suit for billy, but your right depends where your from and mentally understanding what's going on around you,Rees mog ain't going walk them roads, nitty rats everywhere you know what to expect from them ,Boro ain't as bad as what it is made out, good folk same as Liverpool, very similar in mentality coast to coast dock to dock ,helpful friendly true natives ,but then others give it a bad name ..
Few of the local bag heads at the start…
Middlesbrough centre is another world from what it was 20 years ago… houses in that area are used by migrants or students.. the council are slowly starting to pull it all down.
Grove hills finished mate it’s all been nocked down ,they’ve all moved Nextdoor to salty it’s rough as fuck , whinnibanks has been nocked down as well it’s not bad there anymore
It used to be notorious for heroin, crack & gas cookers, it now looks like Baghdad!
Love ya videos btw Billy.
I'm from the Boro but fled to Thailand along time ago
😄
Whats this obsession of pubs? Surely you should be happy that pubs are dying. Due to what happened with your old man? Some weird individuals you guys are!
As personal expience been stabbed 4 times up here when I was abit of a wrongen doing graft here and there in the town b4 the law caught up with us it’s the toughest area atm in probs the most run down highest knife crime are in the north of the uk… lethal
He can’t say nowt about grove hill
Go to grove hill lad around deepdale ave and bell vue
I get my dinner on parliament rd, and no exaggeration you have to be buzzed into and out of the Tesco Express its that rough😂😂
In my experience the worst areas in Middlesbrough is hands down Hemlington or Brambles Farm/Thorntree.
Valley road grove hill is where Brian clough grew up
And Paul Rodgers.
