En 1985 le gouvernement ivoirien a décrété que le nom du pays ne devait plus être traduit dans d’autres langues. Mais le pays s’est toujours appelé « Côte d’Ivoire », il n’a jamais porté le nom Coast of Ivory.

I am Ivorian we are not the same and you guys are too far from us to say that ,we have our neighbors brothers Liberia ,Ghana ,Mali ,Burkina ,Guinée we are the same by culture food last names languages etc but definitely not Cameroon 🇨🇲 we are not the same try to do that with your friends from Congo Gabon 🇬🇦 etc .. not us we are not La Côte D ivoire est unique get that right ..even in the war we were still celebrating there isn’t a nation on earth 🌍 like us we love our country soooo much the Ivorian pride.
