Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca, meaning 'White Beach' is Lanzarote's newest resort located at the southern part of the island. It stretches almost to the tip of the Papagayo nature reserve. Montana Roja, a dormant volcano, forms a backdrop to the town.
Attractive white buildings, a pretty yacht Marina Rubicón, plenty of cafes, restaurants and white sandy beaches makes the area an ideal place for chilling out.

Any problems getting your drone in?

No problems at the border. Playa Blanca is one of the few places in Lanzarote where you can fly a drone, provided you follow Spanish drone regulations. It was quite windy during my stay so I couldn't fly as much as I wanted.
