- Montessori Geometric Cabinet and Cards is a Sensorial Exercise🌾
The wooden cabinet contains six drawers with each drawer containing six geometrical figures in blue🌾
The approximate age for the exercise is from 3 years onwards🌾
Some of the objectives of the exercise are🌾
1. To introduce the child to geometric shapes
2. To indirectly prepare the child for writing
3. To refine the child's ability to abstract ideas from concrete materials
Moving further in the exercise, I also presented exercises with the 3 sets of the geometric cards. Here the child is gradually working from concrete to abstract, simple to complex🌾

My kids just take all the yellow parts out and play with them 😭 I’m struggling with this material
