The Bulls are run by bean counters. That's a known fact. Once that attendance started to drop off, they began making some moves. What I mean by "moves", is that they improve the team just enough so they can start gaining attention again. They double down on marketing, sell this improved squad as some championship contender to a fan base that is stuck in the 90s.
Rinse. Lather. Repeat. They've been doing this since MJ left.

In regards to the 2020 draft, they got a guy in PW that averaged the same scoring and rebounding for the whole NBA season that he averaged in college. He also started 71 games for them that year and took the least amount of shots of the starters and was 1st or second in steals, blocks, turnovers and fouls. Not bad for a rookie. Halliburton came into that draft out of college with a fractured wrist and this was Coby White's first full season as the starting PG, the guy they had drafted the year before. As always, hindsight is 20/20. I mean, the Pistons took an actual PG in the draft at 7 and got Killian Hayes instead of Halliburton. That dude is averaging 8 pts and 5 assists for his career.

I have to admit, at first I kinda hated your voice, your demeanor, your videos just popped in my suggestions since I've been watching a lot of similar content NBA related. Now, the way you're talking and also the finesse of your analysis in particular about the trade market, intentions of the GM. It seems you know what you're talking about and when you were wrong you also admit it. Now i'm glad to see you posted a new video and I watch it every time. Congratulations ;)

miami isnt giving up 4 1st round picks for an injury prone zach lavine. They werent even willing to give that many picks for dame, what makes u think pat riley will give 4 first round picks? As for the cavs, they are not going to trade jared allen for vooch. Vooch is old. If the cavs wanted a big man that can score they would've kept lauri markannen who at the time average about 15 ppg when he was on the cavs roster as a backup player. Vooch is too old for the cavs. Lakers wont send 3 players just to get 1 old dude in demar derozan, that would completely gut their bench which is bad as it already. Also, lakers are def not going to give up that 2029 first round pick that easily for just derozan. All 3 of your trade proposals are not happening.

As a Celtics fan derozan to sixers or Lakers haunts my current dreams. But Levine has gotten no better and that’s been the real problem.

That Heat trade is atrocious. No way they do something that dumb. Like omfg 4 firsts with Herro and Robinson. WTF, LaVine is a bust half of the time anyway. If he were worth that maybe he could’ve beat Miami last year himself. Horrible idea

Can't blame Patrick Williams averaging under 10 ppg when he has 3 all stars who are score first iso players(except voc) and can't play defense. Plus pats game right now is similar to DeMar's game, iso midrange and I don't think he'll able to showcase his offensive versatility if those 3 remains with the bulls.

im a magic fan and the bulls shit the bed making that trade
    bulls get: nikola vucevic
    magic get:
-carter jr, our center for the future
-franz wagner, whos our SF for the future and is probably gonna form a duo with banchero
-jett howard, this pick was bad in my opinion but at the end the bulls should probably blow it up while the magic are likely going to be a future franchise and could sneak into the playoffs this season
and after game 1 of 2023 even though it doesnt mean that much yet:
-magic blew out a young team at home, the rockets by 30, defense looked great as they held them to 86 points
-bulls got blown out at home by a young team, the thunder, SGA looked amazing and giddey and williams had 16 pts each

Surely I absolutely feel bad for Chicago Bulls fans because y’all don’t deserve this and I feel like they’re going to get rid of DeMar DeRozan, Nikola, Vucevic and Lonzo Ball but it’s just so early and already people think that the Bulls are gonna have a bad season again it’s way too early

I don't know if Lavine is 4 picks better than Herro tbh. I'd give that up for Lillard in a heart beat but not Lavine. Bulls need a bunch of picks for Lavine to make it worth and I don't think Miami's the team willing to do it.

I'm getting tired of seeing people say the Heat gain access to more 1sts by doing a deal with OKC. OKC is in trouble with all the picks they have. They don't have the room for them, and with an aging team like Miami, OKC would prefer the pick to become a 2026 1st, which likely will already happen.
OKC needs to push picks into the future, not unlock more picks quicker. If Miami could get OKC to take the 2025 without protections, they would have a long time ago.

I still don't understand how any team looks at Vucevic and thinks "yeah, that's what we need." All you had to do is look at the fact his 20 and 10 basketball in Orlando never got them past 10th place. Why? Because he doesn't protect the rim, nor play tough inside, so it changes the makeup of your defense when you have a soft player at the anchor. Especially if your other two stars are one-sided players who just play defense long enough to get the ball back.

(Alongside Jimmy Butler, Steph, DAaron Fox & Ja... Kyrie also in the mix)
I wouldn't like to see him playing with "mr selfproclaimed" if it goes right, he gets the credit if it goes bad DeMar is the scapegoat like they already painted Russ...
