I got into geocaching with my family when I was like 12-16. I loved doing it with the old style of GPS where you’d put in coordinates and all you see on your device is a compass and estimated range. I absolutely love how much effort you’ve put into making your caches feel like buried treasure, with a great big advent to get from one to the other. You’re a good bean.

Oh my god I was worried that the thief stole the little clay monster guy but was relieved to find you kept it! It must be intervention from the Geocaching gods which made you forget to put the little guy in the cache!!

Next time you want to do more than one cache, register it under the type “multi cache” and leave the log book in the final cache. Geocachers will know what to do then and you may be surprised how many people actually ARE willing to drive all over town, with or without the promise of a cash prize, just to sign the log book. (Also if it requires a great deal of driving, you might add a star or two to the difficulty rating so people know what they’re in for.)
Top tier effort. Hopefully at some point in the future one of these plans can play out successfully with either someone putting in the effort of following the journey or atleast not fucking it up by just taking one of the caches

My teacher had my class make a geocache with 10 steps with a website where you had to scan them all to find the cache. When my group got the 10 dogtag with qr codes, my teacher expected us to pretty much vandalized public areas with super glue and drilling wood screws into trees. The glue was so bad we wasted it all by the second one and my teacher gave my group a C after we told them the glue didn't work.
too bad about this time, gotta dumb it down a little (maybe have all 3 within reasonable walking distance), but looking forward to geocache part 3. i bet they'll do the wacky stuff like watching the QR code video as long as they don't have to drive around
