I actually though some of the protruding parts looked like outlines of skyscrapers, i was thinking if the background blocks were left the same but the very outer layer was turned into diamonds, then it really WOULD look like a diamond *city*

I know many people like to watch streams with survival mode but its also interesting and fun to see them fooling around with commands and creative mode. Hilarious things get created lmao
Adapting an old map to Minecraft past 1.19 saves most of the visited chunks (on the surfaces) but heavily changes any unexplored chunk to the new world generation system (plus changing A LOT of the underground caves): the straight edges are formed where the two different maps meet (even if in the later Minecraft, those edges are realy improved: in my own world, the transition went very smoothly, even if now I'm in a totally different surrounding)
I think the entire diamond dirt is a bad move because it .akes any digging in the area impossible, except the grassy parts. Not even in a cheating way, you can't create any hole without a pickaxe now. Also Luca's initial idea was good, don't understand what the deal is.
Even with being able to copy some structures minus the gathered pets from old server. There will still be tons of Terraforming to do around houses. Many chunks beyond the main area that need to be loaded. So, a small area covered in diamonds isn't that bad.
@@spagetter you could see a part where pomu goes far away and looks at a dirt house where i think the birds are kept, and she turned around to see the wall, so it didnt cover the whole world since the dirt house was still intact EDIT: around 8:47
Honestly, I wish they would have staff manage the server instead of having access to the server files and creative mode. It removes a lot of the fun of minecraft when you know creative mode is always a command away
I think in a case like this, it's fine and that's probably their thought process too. They're only using creative mode so that they can get back to as close as they had prior asap
@@lucariotrainer16 For this type of situation, sure, I think creative mode is fine but Pomu's already mentioned that off-stream she'll use creative mode here and there when she's too lazy to fetch this or that material. I'm not saying it's inherently wrong but it lessens the feeling of accomplishment. For example if anyone in their server did what Kaela did and got like 36 Elytras, there would be people who don't believe it or people won't find it that impressive since there's insane stuff everywhere anyway.
They will give it to staff soon, they’re still copying and moving stuff from the old server and the creative is only used to rebuild the builds that gone, such as the brothel which is a village trading area that Pomu work so hard for, she deserve to use creative mode to rebuild that because it’s a pain to breed the villagers and moving them around. When all the moving and rebuilding complete, they will hand it over to staff to connect it with the other Niji server, after that they will not have any admin power. If they decide to keep the diamond mountain just treat it as a gift, a welcome gift or even apology gift from Luca. Their server just got annihilated afterall.
@@thetcaseaway4306 don't exactly know things about mc but...Luca was playing mc horror collab but the map won't work so he tried fixing it and yeah he might have destroyed the main village (vsf, uki's house, selen's machinery, millie's mansion etc.) using commands
@@thetcaseaway4306 luca and ewiwa were playing a horror MC map but it needed to be on a different MC version. Luca thought it he was doing it on a private server he made but instead ended up overwriting the nijiEN MC sever. So when they reverted it back there was a huge Mesa biome on top of tech town and part of other ppls builds. They then decided to rebuild/terraform using creative/ commands to copy paste the previous builds into the map. It was an honest mistake and everyone was fine with it and so we got this wholesome MC rebuild stream.

Its not the whole server, I don't know how far the command goes, but no one has complained yet.
