The way you present your videos I find perfect for me. Everything about them is clear, concise and easy to understand. I've watched 3 or 4 so far and you've already helped me enormously. I'm very grateful, thank you.
finally, thank for the explanation, using // seems easier, calling pdf files always frustrating me because the file path i've made seem right but not working,
Is there a way to control the root folder from the default app folder field when using GCS? No matter what I do, it creates a default root folder in GCS before the relative path. The default root folder name is (strangely) the doc id of the google sheet that's my data source. I know I can create an absolute path on each image field, but i wish we could name a default folder globally that would reflect in GCS.
Can I get appsheet to store in google drive but outside of the default folder? I want to give it a default folder for storing photos that is outside of where the google sheet lives.
Question: Is there a way to change the name of the file (and/or images) when stored by appsheet? I would like to have a file name more relatable than "image_220405.png" or change the file name to something that is more relatable to the data being stored Like Job2022-001-Report-220420-01.pdf instead of file01.pdf. Thanks.
Only with an automation tasks that save a file can have fully custom filenames. Regular image or file columns filenames are derived from the key with a timestamp. So you can construct a key that would be the desired filename and you will get close to the desired result.

Thank you for creating this video...
It now makes sense where (and why) files go when using appsheet.

Unfortunately no. You have to control it like you described. I know very tedious!!

Yes. In the file column settings you can create a path to store your photos. You can find this under "Type Details"
Can you please make videos on REF Rows expression...its really confusing to understand
