Columns that are an image type will display as an Image in the Generated PDF simply by adding . If you want the image to be smaller/larger you can add a Format Rule to that column to adjust the size near the very bottom of the effect options.
Please continue with this smaller screen in the upper right corner. In previous videos this screen made the main screen to small to see the content clearly. :)

That is a bit of a tricky process. Not impossible, though. The easier way to go about it might be to combine the tables and just add a column for Quotation/Invoice. If you don’t want to combine the tables, then you will need to use a grouped action and “perform an action on a set of rows” to create new records for all the line items

It is possible. If you wanted to use a Microsoft Word doc (the only other option) you would have to connect your O365 profile to your AppSheet account in the My Account tab

Hi! Hopefully you guys still monitor this chat. I have a bot creating a pdf on a schedule. I had to add the table reference with the after the start and before the referenced column as a scheduled bot for some reason doesn't stay connected to the table? I fixed that issue, however I just want to call one row once, but I can't get it to work even when calling it outside of the start. I am printing out time cards so I just want it to print the person's name once at the top, then it can cycle through printing out when they worked.

Hi Carlos. Make sure the Order ID column is set to type “Ref” and that it’s set to target the Order Table (in the type definition column settings) That should turn the Order ID column into a drop down that you can select which order an Order Item belongs to.
In Workflow --> New workflow --> "Attachment Template" doesn't have "Create" button as shown in this video. I have only option to choose the existing template only. Please let me know how can I get the "create" button that would generate a sample code to fetch data in the template?

So as of right now the best way to do this is do a workflow that emails a doc/pdf and then print from your device. Our company has had multiple clients want direct printing from appsheet using an action/workflow/report and are strong advocates for this feature. We'll reach out to you if we find out some news on this subject!

You can set an expression that it only runs when Order's Status(or some column) is set to complete so that you avoid generating a PDF with incomplete data!

There's no easy way that comes to mind. Looks like Zapier has "UPCOMING" integrations with WhatsApp, so in the future I imagine you could use AppSheet to trigger a Webhook that sends a dynamic Message that uses Data from your app.

Bizarre that this has all changed with Bots but you can't find out a single thing about how Bots work online, other than vanilla Google documentation that is totally unhelpful.

There is a setting for the Ref Column type called “is part of”. Turning this on will allow you to add Child items inline on the Parent form

Can you auto generate a word doc from a form created in app sheet? (which contains photos and sketches).
or a google doc? Then I can save it as a word doc from there..

It is available on the free option but stuff like emails will only send to the Owner's email until you pay for a plan.

Hi Rachit! That is certainly possible. Inside of an appsheet bot, you can configure any number of tasks to run and even have branching conditions

Once you create a Workflow, you have to save the app before it will show you the create button. It’s a bit odd, but that’s what you have to do

If the [LIST Tool] is a Ref List with the table selected it will work, otherwise you need an expression like this in the

Build a PDF using automations and use a Start Expression like this.

Bizarre that this has all changed with Bots but you can't find out a single thing about how Bots work online, other than vanilla Google documentation that is totally unhelpful.
