Very well flown gentlemen.Your proficiency was easily recognizable. It appeared that you experienced some cross-wind component-buffeting on your starboard side at about 1300 ft. I appauld your successful management.
@CaptenSmoochie Its all the same if you can get the flows down. It will take some getting used to with the much higher speeds and altittudes. Should be do-able in a week if you study hard.
For those experienced on the 7X, how easy would it be for an ATR42 experienced First Officer (2500hrs) with CRJ type rating test and A320 ground school to assimilate the 7x?No jet time for thius individual but most of his experience on ATR42/72
Two things come to mind while watching this video. One; I hate it when I see a pilot desperately seeking buttons to push, then double-checking and even triple-checking that he pushed the right button or that its engaged. Makes me nervous. Almost like they're unsure of themselves and they might have done something wrong. Two; I wish Dassault would put a camera in the cockpit where passengers could see what the pilot is seeing on approach. It's like driving blind or with side-view vision only.
You're right, that way when a pilot is pushing a button and he looks unsure the passenger can then rush to the cockpit and land the plane in an orderly fashion and save lives. Thanks for the tip and I hope that the entire industry of air flight adopts your idea. Please post more, I can't wait for further recommendations.
Why would you ever have a cockpit camera so the pax could see? That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Like a contract/corporate pilot doesn't have enough to worry about whether or not the pax said they went around at mins or not. If the pax want a camera, get a pilots license.
You may think that a camera is ridiculous, but guess what...if I own the plane and the Pilot/s work for me, then I can put a camera anywhere I damn well please. And I do not have to get a pilot's license if I can get a Pilot. Is that OK with you?
Best cockpit video i ever seen!
what a flight .makes feel just like I was there. this fly by wire sys. is awesome. my next plane, in my next life.
More focus on what's going on inside than outside. We all know what a runway looks like, what we really like to see is the crew and their technique.
We all know what an instrument panel looks like. I enjoyed the look outside very much

Cool video.
Was that maybe a Cat Aviation 7X? Would be a nice encounter as there was another "Eurocat" just taking off, while a third was on the apron

I think so. That's why i was in cockpit and see what the pilots is seeing.
Do you remember the Captain's name ?
@marlyrdi Unfortunately i can't remember, because I never asked his name.
