If you link the cells in parallel, then technically, a single big BMS is all that's needed. But in practice, you'd only be able to link these together via the tiny BMS wires, which won't be fun. I'd go for a small BMS per pack, which would probably be a bit more expensive, sadly.
@BrianMcKennaPuffnfresh yeah I'll have to cost it out and then I can build it in stages need a couple grand for inverters I recon i have most of the cable . How's the one you built with these cells going?
I'm looking at batrium but I think i might go individual stand alone 8.6kw bricks with my draw ill only need like 60 amp bms units on each so lots of small ones won't break the bank
Well its been a long time since i been back to this old farm this building were torn down long ago eventhu i seem to be spending more and more time in the city this days theres never a momeng goes by that i dont remember . And thank god i'm a country boy. Its a long road . Whats that ? Whos there ? Just your old friend engel eyes. American remains .
@ if you run something for an hour @ 100 Amps and you have a battery that is rated for 100Ah ...the battery will be dead in 1 hour...drawing 50 amps the battery will be dead in 2 hours not everything draws the same amperage
@t00ls742 kwh is a measurement of power. When you get to the equivalent size of 700x 12v 100ah drop in lithium battery's amp hr becomes a redundant form of measurement when watt hour is so much more accurate.

But that would let me make it modular i giess
They don't need to be big bms units. I was looking at batrium bms system last night
My 24v battery has 1 bms for a 7s 3p x 3 bricks
Something modular like Batrium would be the absolute best option.

Look forward to seeing it come together mate.
Id do a bms per module unless you went batrium or similar, but they are pricey ✌🏼

I'd recommend jk or jbd for that, would be nice to have bluetooth also ✌🏼
@offgriddreaming5403 i was sort of thinking it would be nice but do I need to know any more than a daly or similar would do
Daly would be last on my list but some like them
@offgriddreaming5403 what would you choose?
thats a lot a juice!
That's what we are aiming for ;)

You love your music
Thanks , i do , love me some good movies to 👍
@gasperajdnik8004 80s 90s movies were some of the best
Yeah , they were , songs from the 80s and 90s are good to
7:28....looks like a garbage dump
Yep the container is the dumping ground for when I need space in the main 12x6 shed
180 KWH AT WHAT AMPERAGE DRAW
the amp draw doesnt remain the same so you cant say kwh....battery storage is measured in Ah ( amp hour ) not kwh
What do you mean. Storage isn't measured in kwh
3800ah ish at 48v

15,200 ah at 12v for reference in your preferred units of messure
