She'll learn too and adapt, like she always does, and like great champs do. What Alexandrova did on returns in this match in general hardly anyone can consistently pull off, including herself. Ye.... I've been watching her and Kalinskaya since 2019.....both of them poseses natural power. They are not that tall or strong by the look, as Rybakina, Sabalenka, Ostapenko, Even IGA looks more muscular, but boy those two had this power since 20 y.o but both had huge problems with UE, especially in critical stages of the match. But this year, Kalinskaya literally, woke up, and said to herself ok.....enough to be at 70-120 places for the past 4 years....time to be in the top 10! And Katea is also making more winners in matches than UE and started this year with semifinal in Adelaide & final at Linz events, in Doha ⅛ of the final. Maybe the time has come ? When she'll cut at least 30% of her UE and that will make her a big contender for top-10 too.🤔

Waiting for excuses from Iga fans as the perfect player that is untouchable 😅. Noskova would have done the job previously but she got complacent. I hate it when credit is not given to the better player of the match. Iga's game is one sided and good against players who don't have a game plan. Iga needs to be creative and stop looking for a way to spin all the time. She needs a Plan B in her toolbox.

Even as a fan of Iga I must admit that this was incredible from Alexandrova. She just didn't miss, and the speed and conditions of these courts only elevated her game. This kinda feels like when Djokovic lost to Medvedev at the US Open. It was a bummer to watch someone I liked lose, but at a certain point you just have to accept that it's a lost cause and acknowledge the special talent of the person on the other side of the net.
