When you see this movie from the 90's, with its effects that still totally stand up to scrutiny to this day. And then you are reminded by this scene just what computer graphics were really like at that time. It really is mind blowing what ILM achieved.
Yeah, ILM created absolutely stunning effects for this movie. Was worlds different than videogames of the day, for sure. To be fair, you had to have real-time graphics on your games... but wikipedia mention this about the T2 graphics: The CGI was so complex that 15 seconds of footage could take up to ten days to render
@@vghchannel I was thinking, have you seen the original "the Last Star Fighter". That movie revolves around aliens recruiting pilots with an arcade game. I know the game in the movie isn't real, but maybe there are comparisons to real games at the time, if so pointing out those comparisons sounds like possible content too.
@@MadHax-wt5tl - definitely! The book "Armada" (sequel to Ready Player One) had some of these same themes. And yeah, I had this one in my playlists already: ruclips.net/video/XE4CQYs8IyA/видео.html
@@vghchannel Surprised Oh. I did done scroll through your videos before making this suggestion, in case you beat me to that head space. Turns out you did and I didn't notice. Will definitely watch this vid.
