Gooseneck lights might be good for you , they are good to reduce the reflections, if you get a reflection just move the light slightly. I changed my ring light for them and saw a massive improvement. Great watch as always.

@@SURGE101 will definitely try this out. Did you find that more white light or more yellow light worked better? Thank you.

@ I personally have only ever had the white colour lights on mine both times ( the previous ring light and the goose neck lights I have now). So I’m not sure about how good the yellow ones are. They do sell ones with both yellow and white to have the best of both but I haven’t personally tried those. I found the gooseneck lights to be a big improvement on reflections due to being able to shine the light at an angle rather than straight down like it does on the ring light. I found it reduces the glare back into the microscope massively. I Really do enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for sharing.

Surge101 beat me to the comment. I would use a dual gooseneck LED light. Depending on what you are looking to spend, you can find them for sale all over the internet. I've been an electrician for over 30 years and deal with lighting glare with clients all the time. An indirect light will reduce the reflection you have. I do have one queation? What brand of iron and heatgun do you use? I have been looking at a hakko and weller, but i don't know how well they are for heat transfer to the tip and especially the micro tips.

@@roneckler9937 Thank you for your idea as well. 👍🏻 The hot air station is a Quick 861DW and my go to iron is a Hakko Fx 951 it comes with the fm2027 wand. I also use the 2032 micro pencil with A T-30kn tip. It is compatible with the 951 host.

@@phonedatarecovery I have been looking at the Hakko 203. The rework station I have now, and don't laugh to much, is a Yihua 862BD!!! 🤣 I initially bought that one because of the price, and, well, the price will tell you how well it will work... lol Now I need a station that works better for the micro soldering. I didn't know if I was going to be able to remember all the stuff my dad taught me years ago about electronics, so I didn't want to invest to much into something if I wasn't able to fix anything. I mainly just work on Nintendo, and sony products, but will work on a TV every now and again. I don't have the skills to work on these phones like you do, so I don't even attempt to work on them.

@roneckler9937 Nice! I started with an Aoyue 852. 👍🏻 The Quick 861dw was a huge change for me but I love it.
