@VDD_MainRepairs Yeah insane! I posted the place that did it in the video description.

The lighting is way better aswell!
Loving your vids mate. Could you say your air temps throughout your work? Would be much appreciated :)
@@mrbigb12 saving that for a later time. 😅
I'm about to drop my phone across the room if it doesn't start working the way it should. lol I'll send it to you and fill out a ticket saying, "I just set it on the counter, and it stopped working...🤔 don't worry about how the screen got broke, it came that way..."🤣 LMBO! Lighting is much better. I'm sure once you record a few more videos you will get it dialed in the way you want it, but for the most part, it was pretty clear. Just to let you know. Don't buy polarized lights. if you have to have it polarized, you can buy a lens for that. way cheaper than buying a new light. I think it works good just the way it is anyway. Oh, by the way. I got my Hakko 203 finally. That thing is like a whole new soldering experience compared to the Yihua. I only have the temp on 320 deg vs 800 from the Yihua! Another great recovery too!
No don't do it! It's not worth it! LOL. Very nice enjoy the new gear. WIll be a game changer trust me! You already know! Thank you also for your advice on lighting. I already tried polarizer and it doesn't work well. I plan on trying out some diffent color gel swatches to get the lighting right! I used to do back up av and video for major events like concerts and conventions so I'm familiar with what can be done with the right color filter on lighting. Hopefully this will yield a great end product. 🙏
@@phonedatarecovery Nice! I've never worked with lighting like that. the closest is when I wired the space odyssey exhibit in the Denver museum. I had a little education on different lighting lenses to mimic the lighting on Mars, but that is about all the experience I've had with something that sophisticated. I'm sure once you're done with the lighting, you'll be getting messages from other youtubers for advice. Yeah, it surely is a game changer when soldering. I feel like I'm learning how to solder again. I've burned a few pads off some practice boards already not realizing the iron actually holds the temp better. lol
He's a witch, I tell you. A witch!
😮 Wow! 😂
There is definitely an enhancement in the lighting but i guess using additional unpolarized light source will decrease the effect of the polarized light source , also i think your camera contributes to the issue , there are new models with auto light exposure control , i would recommend this model for you "Mechanic Mos 4k pro".
@@VDD_MainRepairs I will for sure figure it out. I just don't want to buy a new camera. I have Sony scope cam. I just suck at controls in the software of controlling the camera. My friends have been assisting me. I'm still finding the right spot for the snake lights. I might put gels over the lights see how that helps too. Thank you very much for the recommendation bro. Maybe if I can't win I will switch lol.
You did an excellent job 👏 Samsung made the separation of their sandwich boards a nightmare, they are using a solder alloy with high melting point to solder the two boards together not only that but they added glue to maximise the suffering 😅 By the way can you do a more in depth review for the U15 programmer ? What it can do and what it can't do ?
@@VDD_MainRepairs Thank you! Yeah man the solder on the android sandwiches is no joke! I'm scared every time lol. I'm not very software savvy. JC has a video on their site showing what the programmer can do. 🙂
Fake im have ps 5 is your turnf of ps 5
Another great recovery. I don't know what you do with the old boards you remove from the phones, but there are a few companies out there that will pay you for them for the precious metal recovery on them. Might as well make a little cash of the trash I guess. lol
@@roneckler9937 I actually harvest things I need from them. So they are more valuable to me to keep them on deck. I bag n tag em. 😅 Most of the time the customer would like the board back and that's understandable. But when they want to recycle it, which is the most reasonable thing to do then it becomes an organ donor so to speak. Nothing involving any data is at risk when recycled in the right way. 👍🏻 As you already know 🙂
Wonderful 👍👍👍❤

I've seen so many people drop their phones in the water it's not funny. It seems like every time I go drop the boat in the Gulf, someone there drops their phone. lol I'll have to put a sign on the boat, "If you drop your phone in the water, send it to I Micro Repair. He will fix it!" lol I hope you are going to make a video on the PS5. As soon as I finish repairing six more Nintendo Switches, my next project will be repairing a PS5. I'm waiting on my new Hakko FM-203 to arrive, so I can't do much until it gets here.... woot woot!

@@phonedatarecovery Yeah, I feel like a kid at Christmas waiting for this machine. It's coming from Japan, so knowing my luck they will put it on the slowest boat to get it here. lol 🤨I was going to order all the tips the other day, but they would probably rust before I get the soldering station. haha There is a company here in South West Florida called IFix that does phone repairs, but I've heard a lot of bad things about them. Surge101 beat me to the comment. I would use a dual gooseneck LED light. Depending on what you are looking to spend, you can find them for sale all over the internet. I've been an electrician for over 30 years and deal with lighting glare with clients all the time. An indirect light will reduce the reflection you have. I do have one queation? What brand of iron and heatgun do you use? I have been looking at a hakko and weller, but i don't know how well they are for heat transfer to the tip and especially the micro tips.
@@roneckler9937 Thank you for your idea as well. 👍🏻 The hot air station is a Quick 861DW and my go to iron is a Hakko Fx 951 it comes with the fm2027 wand. I also use the 2032 micro pencil with A T-30kn tip. It is compatible with the 951 host.
@@phonedatarecovery I have been looking at the Hakko 203. The rework station I have now, and don't laugh to much, is a Yihua 862BD!!! 🤣 I initially bought that one because of the price, and, well, the price will tell you how well it will work... lol Now I need a station that works better for the micro soldering. I didn't know if I was going to be able to remember all the stuff my dad taught me years ago about electronics, so I didn't want to invest to much into something if I wasn't able to fix anything. I mainly just work on Nintendo, and sony products, but will work on a TV every now and again. I don't have the skills to work on these phones like you do, so I don't even attempt to work on them.
@roneckler9937 Nice! I started with an Aoyue 852. 👍🏻 The Quick 861dw was a huge change for me but I love it.
Gooseneck lights might be good for you , they are good to reduce the reflections, if you get a reflection just move the light slightly. I changed my ring light for them and saw a massive improvement. Great watch as always.
@@SURGE101 will definitely try this out. Did you find that more white light or more yellow light worked better? Thank you.
@ I personally have only ever had the white colour lights on mine both times ( the previous ring light and the goose neck lights I have now). So I’m not sure about how good the yellow ones are. They do sell ones with both yellow and white to have the best of both but I haven’t personally tried those. I found the gooseneck lights to be a big improvement on reflections due to being able to shine the light at an angle rather than straight down like it does on the ring light. I found it reduces the glare back into the microscope massively. I Really do enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for sharing.

It's unfortunate that people learn to back up their data after something like this happens. These phones are pretty tough, as you have shown in your other videos, like the phone that got ran over by the mower, but it only takes the right hit in the proper place to destroy everything. Although the chip was dead, I am curious to know if you have ever tried to get the information from it anyway? Anything could be possible. Psych! Haha Great effort in trying to recover the info though. Sorry to hear about the tragic loss of the owners brother.

I could be wrong but First you could have seen if it boots and try and put back the missing capacitors just like some phones that still work broken or bent but when you repair them they stop working.i think this could of been saved without taking the cpu and ram off just because it was already molded to the structure of the board. I could be wrong but at least trying it would have been a good starting point, Unless you could seen that the crack was already there before starting the process of taking it off. Either way I enjoy your videos man keep up the great work brotha.
