thank you Tadashi for this tutorial. I was gifted a small origami charizard from a coworker at work and it disappeared somehow and now I'll make myself a huge one and this one is perfect, so everyone can see it. thank you :')
I made one and though it looks okay, I find it annoying that it was being retarded to fold. I was using a 3x3 foot piece of paper, but it was pretty thick, so that was probably the problem. I'd like to send you a picture of it: it's awesome!

I used an A3 printer sheet and was getting pretty frustrated at times, but i was able to make it (forgive my detailing tho xD) Really well explained and an amazing model, Great job Tadashi Mori!
i managed but i see what you mean that it's easy to make it too fat. And my paper was a bit small too shape the legs like you did so i had to think of a different way. All in all my Charizard looks pretty good.
This is amazing. You're extremely talents and this and your art is a huge inspiration for me and my skill in origami. I find myself consistently folding your complex models. I've always wanted to create an origami charizard, and now I can.
i managed to make it with 9 A4 papers combined with tape, making a 63x63cm A4 paper. some details like the fangs and the claws were impossible to fold because the paper gets really thick, but it still looks good
Finished I made it!! But the belly part is a little bit hard. And I made it with joining 4 sheets of paper to make a big paper and its very thick, so I can't made the belly part correctly. But its good. If you understand it then it is very easy.
What website do you go to to buy your paper (assuming you do). I can't remember if you said if you did in one of our other videos, I need to buy better paper to do more complex origami that I like. By the way, I really enjoy your RUclips channel. I have had fun making the origami that you do, and I hope you keep making more, thanks.
I have 2 questions, first how does one go about designing an origami sculpture? 2 would it be possible for you to design, and then show how to build a blastoise?
Pokeblast, this comment is late but to design an origami model: step 1: think of model. Step 2: design CP in computer software program or think of abstract base yourself. And step 3: add detail And yes it is possible to fold blastoise with these steps but it takes lots of skill to design a model!
Great origami! I always wanted to do something like this (not creating it, just do it), but i don't know where i can get the paper to do such a big thing. It would help me a lot if you could give me some information about that. Sorry if i didn't write too well, i'm from Spain. Thanks, and keep doing things like this!
Andreu Sacasas Kraft paper comes to mind. www.origami-shop.com/ comes to mind too; they are located in France, so shipping to Spain shouldn't be THAT expensive.
imakuniaw Yes, i know there are some shops like that one, but what i want to know is more about the type of paper he uses and which one i need to buy because he makes serve different types of papers depending of what he is doing but i never get to fully understand it. Maybe i didn't explained it too well the first time but it would be great that someone told me something related to that.
@@Andreu001andxat97 Tadishi mori said to use thai unryu and stuff like that you can get that type of paper from the paper tree and other shops like that
As a long time Pokemon fan this is incredible! With a few tweaks no doubt you could turn it into Mega Charizard Y or X with a black piece of paper, it looks it's about to pull off a Blast Burn attack! Fantastic videos just keep doing what you're doing 😁
hanks so much for you video tutorial. This has been one of my favorite models since you posted the earlier pictures. Here is my sad attempt: instagram.com/p/1wEPpuSSnU/ I used 30inch wrapping paper. It just got too thick to do much. I also bought a piece of large thai unryu that I have to prepare for another go. Thanks again!!

Very nice model and really good set of instructions. I've managed to make it with 20cm transparent paper so you don't need a big sheet!
I used an A3 printer sheet and was getting pretty frustrated at times, but i was able to make it (forgive my detailing tho xD)
Really well explained and an amazing model, Great job Tadashi Mori!
AWESOME model... I will fold this for sure. Ty Tadashi.

This was fantastic! Thank you so much!

He uses www.origami-shop.com/en/ to get paper. The best paper for complex models is tissue foil, shadow fold or biotope.
If you are in the U.S.A you should go to the paper tree
Good concept. I hope you continue the Designing videos.
Does tracing paper and acrylic paint work?
