Thanks for these old videos I started watching nascar back in late 2003. Being from honduras didn't have a lot of channels to watch but we had NBC, TNT & FOX, my first race I ever watch was the EA Sport 500 at talladega (2003) and I was hook from that day. These was really the best days of nascar to me with the drivers, racing and the tracks. Im still a fan of the sport and still watch every race but its not the same anymore.
+viacomsux45 I really hope dodge returns, more diversity produces better racing.... I still can't believe a manufacturer would want to leave when they won the championship the same year, ever since those dang Italians and Fiat bought out dodge they didn't want to be in American motor sports
+WestCoastFishing Dodge left because Penske had decided earlier that year (2012) to switch to Fords. They could no longer secure a top level team, and felt they wouldn't be competitive. They didn't want to leave.

Anytime JJ gets passed on the last lap for a win is a great finish. As a side note, the penalties that Nascar doled out were absolutely deserved. Cheating is cheating no matter how you try and spin it.
# 48 Was found to be cheating in height and after several championships engine size as like when Gordon was found to be cheating because of the driver seat being too much towards the center sitting on the phone book to see over dash was deemed OK. Lance Armstrong found to be cheating after so many wins and has yet to cough up the prize money or the trophies and titles and yet he is still married to that chick that sang working at the car wash yeah!
