no chance in hell she would win, it would not even make it to court. right to refuse service trumps almost everything. the only way she could win is if they stated we refuse service because you are sick or have a medical condition, which they did not so. all stores have the right to refuse service the only places that don't are government buildings. The tip lady is prof that you need to just... PAY A LIVING WAGE. I'm in Aus so we don't tip unless we want to and people get a wage to live off (just but still). Like it's crazy that a waiter could bend over backwards, do literal magic, make everything 100%, not slip up once, get a 0 tip due to (insert f**ked up excuse) and then be told "get a better job if you want better pay" while the customer yells how often they go to stead place.
This is spot on! It’s wild that in some places, workers have to rely on tips just to make ends meet, while here in Aus, it’s all about paying a fair wage from the start. The idea that someone could give their all and still get nothing because of a flimsy excuse is just messed up. Everyone deserves to be paid fairly for their work-tipping shouldn’t be the safety net for low wages.

I will never forget the rude Karen filming in her disgusting car, giving the Starbucks employees a very, very, very hard time all because she didn't know what she wanted or knew what she was ordering. They did everything they could to satisfy her and it still wasn't enough. I'm sure she didn't, but I hope that after she went viral and saw that no one was on her side that she went back to them and apologized for her very rude behavior towards them. I would have laughed at you as well because you were definitely in the wrong
