@tshepangmosiaquantumnsoul5025 Check the brake cable if it's not loose, making a motor run under brake. Also check the capacitor if it still measure +/- 5% of its specific value. If all fails its the motor windings or rust on the stator.
I think that is on your filter at the back, u turn it anticlockwise. If that's not the case, check the stationary tub on the spin side by opening the top parts.
Hi I have 1 month new machine washer defy it's just stopped while I was washing and when I turn the timer just make the chii noise nothing else what do I need to do to fix it
@@SabeloSibisi-t3s If the machine is new, Defy can come and fix it for free since its still under warranty. But if its a second hand then sounds like you have to replace the timer.

@elricowhite Usually its rust/dirt on the stator or bearings.
@@appliancetech001 i did remove the motor and yes its rust all over due to water leak -removing the drum was terrifying thnx to your content i managed
