Congrats on your bag! It's actually called the 23p heart crush bag and it's so rare (resell is like ~6k or more) for the bag so if you consider returning the bag I think another route you can take is resell it (might as well make a bit money off of a bad situation lol). But yes unfortunately chanel isn't known for having the best customer service and it's just sad that these prices increases are insane but people still line up only to get treated so badly like I am confusion.
Oh wow, thanks a lot. I couldn’t figure out for the life of me what the bag was called. I checked everywhere online and couldn’t find the exact one. Now I’m definitely going to keep it haha. It’s a shame that the customer is so bad & it’s also a shame that we keep giving them our hard earn money. 🤦🏾♀️
I really appreciate your explanation of how you budget for large purchases. So many people on RUclips make these luxury purchases and never talk about how to afford them. It’s unrealistic to think someone can just buy whatever they want and not think about finances. It’s a beautiful bag and a well thought out purchase. Good on you! 💕🥰
Your Bag Is Beautiful And You Are Gorgeous, Most Of The SA’s Can Not Afford The Bags Sadly Their Jealousy Comes To The For Front Enjoy Your Bag And Your Little One… ♥️
i had experienced a bad service too at LV the SA was Chinese(asian,i am considered asian too.)she was really rude,i can feel that she doesn’t want to sell me something,i am guessing because we were not in our nicest outfits, and judged us from that...of course we left, went to Saksfifth and there i felt the warm service, offered us water etc... asked them the bag that i am looking for, bought it,they put the item in a huge LV paper bag lol(just imagine walking in the mall with a huge paper bag🤣) i returned to the First store and waved to the SA in my hands was that huge LV paper bag ,i have seen how her face turned red,she blushed. These sales persons should have a crash course in sales and learn some etiquettes...
Wow! Emmalyn😊 Your saving plan is genius. It really resonates with me. Thanks and you are so lovely✨hope you enjoy your bag as much as I enjoy your videos ❤
Congrats on ur purchase...side note, why do people spend their hard earned money with people who don't care for them and don't care if u can afford the item...I would neva!!!
I’ve been debating to buy and reason I haven’t because I can’t justify the price. However, my debating only made the prices only go up 😅 but if I ever decide to buy and don’t get treated nicely, I’ll just walk out of the store and tell them they don’t deserve my hard earned money. I know it won’t matter to them but at least I’ll be at peace that I did the right thing
I love your savings goals, so smart and disciplined. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience in its purchase. But good to hear that Tory Burch at least knew how to do it, geez.
Yes, she is so beautiful. I wanna get her. It is so beautiful. Yes I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about Chanel boutique the sale person attitude y’all did the right thing she don’t serve you she don’t need to get no commission.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
First of all, congratulations on your expected blessing. You are such a fabulous lady and you deserve all the lovely blessings life has to give. I love the bag!!! I have one the same size but with a top handle and chain. I love it so much. I purchased mine online because I have also heard the terrible service stories from friends about their experience in the Chanel stores. I didn’t want that to ruin my wanting to get my purse so I got it online. Anyway, enjoy your bag, she’s beautiful and so are you. Continued blessings to you and your family.
Thank you so much. Do you have the bag I showed in the video? It’s so cute. Buying online is such a good idea but I really wanted the in store experience, that’s been ruined. Moving forward I plan to make sure I like the sales person before making the purchase especially if it’s commissioned based.
A lot of us love luxury items and I’m not judging . I have purchased several luxury items so I fall into this category. What I’m concerned about is that you work hard and want to treat yourself, only to have a terrible purchase experience. A lot of these designers are concern with the exclusivity of their merchandise and the consumers who are purchasing these items. Although we know there’s opportunities as it relates to who’s buying these products across all platforms it should encourage us to spend our money on the ones who truly want our business. Recognize us for the talents we have but the spending power we bring to the economy. Black people spent 1 trillion dollars in 2022. Yes 1 trillion! We need to be more exclusive with our money. Love the way you save. Struggling that old girl received commission on your purchase. Enjoy your handbag.
This reminds me of that episode of A Different World where that sales lady at the jewelry store treated Whitley like crap because she thought she couldn't afford the watch. So Whitley bought it to prove her wrong but ended up taking it back for the same reason 😂 In your case I think you should keep it since you love it so much. But in the future see if you can find a black sales person so they can get the commission.
Congratulations on your beautiful purchase, yes Sis they do receive a commission on your purchase a nice commission too. I would not allow her to mistreat me and then receive a bonus for it. Call the friends, friends at the Chanel counter at Nieman Marcus see if he has the same bag and allow him to receive the gift of that commission. Feel no way about returning it, the manager will remember that you spoke with her regarding the poor service and the reality at the next meeting will set in real good, that sales person will know it was her because she lost her commission. I don't agree with your husband at all on this one. As a black woman I don't understand why it is so hard for folks of other nationality to believe we have wealth also. Black wealth is alive & living in America & Beyond.👜💰👜💰👜💰👜
The bag is beautiful! but ONE thing about me if the customer service is not right I'm walking right out. I understand ppl have personal problems but you leave that at home or call out. I just dont like bad customer service even if im not buying anything like I need you to be nice. Ohhhh i cant ... but the bag is beautiful Em :)
I personally never had bad experiences with Chanel, I have 3 bags and one pair of earrings but Hermes yes they are always rude don’t don’t greet me when I get in and pretend I don’t even exist
Friends find it hard to believe that my bag is a replica bag, #eastlisa. Every time I see a beautiful handbag, happiness arises naturally. Women love bags, right? #eastlisa must have the one you want
I really hate that happened to you! That amount of money being spent...she should have been at your feet! lol She would have not gotten that commission! I would have told her about herself too! I would have requested another SA! I am not even a Chanel girl and I am so mad lol...but she is a cutie! My favorite feature is the chain adjuster! Enjoy your bag!
I just bought a Gucci bag and my experience with my SA was amazing he went above and beyond to find the bag I wanted which is no longer in the website but the fact that the lady was rude and unwilling to help you I would have walked out to be honest with you…
The good about Chanel now is that their quality control is declining therefore at least improve customer service. I went through the same terrible experience and believe it or not my SA send me message to buy a bag and I declined it. They need customers now.
Honestly, I'm fat, ugly, possibly look like a freak to most and I never look the part when shopping at my Chanel boutique store or any stores. But luckily I have a wonderful Chanel SA who's very attentive to my request and a gorgeous natural beauty daughter who looks like a Kpop star who always comes shopping with me everywhere I go. Therefore, I feel like I been dodging the bullet of getting judged at by others and by store SA's due to my daughter being the focus point of turning heads and always getting compliments even from strangers. Pple tend to overlook me or look pass me when my beautiful daughter is around. I know this sounds sad but unfortunately we live in a society nowadays where majorities are so quick to judge you for how you look, what you wear, whether you look the part of fitting into society's appearance, racism etc etc. I wish it wouldn't have to be this way where pple can just accept others for who they are and not for what they are or how they look. Please don't get the wrong idea that I'm only using my daughter to get attention which is not true or my intention. My girls and I are very close where we always do things together, go shopping together, and love enjoying time together. Except, my youngest tends to be a homebody while my oldest loves going shopping with me. My only reason of collecting Chanel handbags is simply to have something to be able to pass down to my two girls when they become of age. I figure, by the time their generation comes around of adulthood they might not be able to afford luxury handbags due to the constant price increase. I wish, I could start a journey with Hermes to be able to collect a few birkin or Kelly bags for my girls but I'm nervous to even try hearing all the horror stories of pple's bad experiences.
The word of God says we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Your beautiful, Man looks on the outside, but God looks on the inside. Let your inner beauty shines
Girl we have to demand respect, I bet you she’s friendlier to other races. They get commission and most of the SAs can barely afford those bags. You should have never given her the commission. Cute bag, but no girl. The best part about luxury purchases is the whole experience.
I'm offended by some of the comments here, and you specifically pointed out that her race is Asian. Just to be clear, most of the SAs in luxury brands are rude. I believe you went to Design District. The SA in Hermès made a joke with his colleague about our intent of purchasing a bag. He had no idea my sister and I speak fluent English. So please don't make this a racial issue. They are ALL rude.
Wait, you was treated like crap and you still spent money there🤨. Most likely they do work on commission but even if they don't why give that store and company your money. Plus what an insult the Manager saying they will bring it up in the next meeting, that could be months away in the mean time this sales associate gets to continue treating customers like dirt with no consequences. That bag would always have this negative experience attached to it. In the end all these luxury items are all about the experiences, causes the leathers and material are not worth the $$$. It's the experiences you are paying for that is linked to the brands reputation.

I went to 2 Chanel locations, one in Spain and the other in Canada both this year, and I was treated the same way, AND I WALKED THE HELL OUT!
You made the right decision.
Good job!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 They don’t deserve the money you earned working respectfully.

Not everyone should be in customer service business mainly sales , congratulations I love Chanel

Who begs to be treated nicely? We can go elsewhere. We can also go buy other luxury brands.
I have heard about this type of behavior at Chanel so much. Obviously they don’t care because their bags are in high demand.
