Hi,
I have been riding Continental GT650 for more than 1 year and completed 10,000 kms on this bike. So I always wanted to calculate the total amount of money , have I spent on the bike whether its maintenance cost, running cost, total petrol it has consumed till now, almost all the numerical values.
So here is my video on "in-depth maintenence Cost of Cotinental GT650 for the first year or after completing first 10K kms". Hope this will help you guys and give you an idea about total ownership cost of 1year.

@@NerdyNoob This is how company makes money. Use the cheapest lube available and use diesel/pressure wash to clean the chain. Thank me later. Costly lube doesn't do anything extra. Hint: Buy TVS lube/Tribocor super lube TC205.

After watching this video I got answer tht it is super cheap to maintain a twin cylinder engine in d segment... Firstly ur daily commute is too long.. Not everyone use to ride that's much..few ppl buy only fr weekend rides soo petrol is not necessary to include bcoz which you already know the mileage around 20kmpl and secondly Chain lube u can do it for urself wn ever u need, even for every 100km..Use Diesel for clean n use gear oil for lube.. n for break pad u can also fit other brand product wch costs vry less.. anyhow for this service interval tym, its really worth when compared to my classic 350

bro for chain lubrication i would suggest chain cleaner se clean karne ke baad gear oil se lubrication karo. apko har 500km pe lubrication ki zarurat nahi padegi. aap between 800 -1000 kms pe lubrication kar skte ho

Because it's 650cc, did you use high octane petrol like Extra premium/ Speed , or just used the normal petrol

They use their own engine oil , but motul leke jaoge to wo b daal denge wo
Get a chain cleaning spray, a brush & some lube. And you are good to go. 500rs mein saal bhar chalega

Chain lubrication 5000₹?
Bro if anyone goes to service station for lubrication then it'll cost 250 approx and for 10000kms, 5000/- will be the cost but this happens only if somebody goes to service center else u can buy your own chain clean and lube

The prblm with analog meter is that its not properly sealed. And it’s not waterproof. Use a silicon sealant to fix up the meter issue.

So i had to recently change the colour to dux deluxe

I do not agree with chain lubrication part. Everything else is accurate.
Lubrication at home will cost you 50-70 rupees per 400-500 km. Service center guys do excessive Lubrication to make your rim and chain a dust magnet😂

Yes bro ladies can sit as pillion but only for short rides. Long rides are not at all comfortable for pillion rider😊

Bro interceptor no doubt why I am saying that because riding ia quite comfortable on INT and moreover u can do lot of modifications on INT. I have felt that if u add clip on on INT then it will look smarter than GT650😊 I mean modifications look beautiful on INT

My daily running is of 60kms, so for 30days , petrol cost is 5700/- and for chain lube- u can buy MOTUL C1,C2 400ml combo for 1000/- it can be used for 4-5 times. so total 6700/- approx should be the monthly cost. You can calculate based on ur running km 😊

Bhai for 10k kms u have to do it for 20times as the interval is Rs. 500 and service center cost 250/- for this process so that's Rs.5000 is the total amount for 10k kms👍🏻
@@NerdyNoob you could buy chain lube and cleaner used by RE service center under 5k . Or do OLD SCHOOL kerosene (max 100 rs) cleaning then BOSH SAE 90 GEAR OIL (cost just 400 rs/ 1 ltr ) for lubing the chain. With just 500 rs you could clean and lube chain for 30 times if really need to. Don't over hype the SERVICE COST of RE 650. it's way more lesser than other 650 CC bikes. Note that the above said method is way more friendlier for chains.

And yes options/alternatives are there in the market, I myself use MOTUL C1,C2 😊 Also i tried to give official figures of service costs and chain lubrication, and brake pads too.

No bro i don't think they removed exhaust. I was not there all the time, but was checking after 5-5mins and didn't see exhausts were off the bike

Yes bro there are two options either 5000km/6 months or 10000km/12months and most of the service center prefer 2 options, this thing I had been told by 3-4 service centers
