I taught my children at an early age not to point lasers at the sky. Especially ones that can set someone's house on fire and take down an airplane. Things like these and drone should be regulated.
Its illegal to fire those in the sky, they can fill an entire pilot cabin and dazzle/blind the pilots. And looking at where the lazy point is hitting can also blind you.
Since the sky does not have a solid thing to reflect or scatter the laser light, it cannot be seen in the sky, it will keep going up the sky and if powerful enough, can reach space, and until then they get so dim that it basically disappears in space
The laser can go up to 10,000 ft, and if you shine it up on a moving aircraft you can commit a crime. Things like this shouldn't be something to carry around because it's a weapon.
Don’t point this at the air, if there’s a plane up there you could get arrested. The only thing this might be good for is zapping aiptasias in fish tanks
My dad had a buddy that pointed one at a military helicopter back about 15 years ago and they went knocking door to door and since he was an honest guy, he told them it was him... He got fine like $200k and sadly he ended up killing himself
