You guys should definitely check Determinado (Determined) by Josue and Pablo! This song won the Djooky Music Awards Spring Edition! Actually, Pablo’s leaning is more on Hiphop before SB19. This is his most comfortable sound. And Josue is an undiscovered gem! His songs are fire! Nase bros super talended!

You should check out "Determinado" by Josue&Pablo. This song won the Djooky Music Awards a few months ago. But yeah the effect feels like your in another room (takng a piss or spilling everything you taken in the sink 🤮) and that's when you realize getting drunk is a bad idea...hahahah!! Thank you for giving this song a chance..I was thinking to suggest some of Josue&Pablo collab for your next underground rap feature friday. Hope to see "Determinado" soon! Pablo sang Akala during their online concert last year with Ken taking Josue’s part. Josue had a surprise duet with Pablo during the BITZ concert a few months ago so may figure into the upcoming OZone live concerts on Nov 27 and 28.
I love his music - my favorite is Himlay (meaning rest or lie down), his latest release. I’d also recommend Determinado, his other duet with Pablo. With just these three songs, you’ll get an idea of how immensely talented the Nase brothers are.

Another awesome reaction you guys. I agree with your analysis - drowning yourself in alcohol to forget a temporary trouble can result to a lot of regret later. But I disagree that problems are “permanent” because I believe they aren’t. :)
The lyricism of Josue made me appreciate Tagalog/Filipino more because of all the play on words.. I’m such as “ALAK-AKALA” which when you say sounds like you’re saying an anagram (dunno if there’s a better term?)

The person thought that the problems would go away while being drunk with alcohol. But that's not the case. Alcohol is only a temporary escape but doesn't really solve the problems.

OMG I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS! Actually, Pablo and Josue likes to put a lot of word-plays on their songs (like Akala) so it's really cool when you listen to it. I often got goosebumps when I listen to Josue's songs because the lyrics are so meaningful and poetic specially when you understand Tagalog.

Filipinos have a Makata (Poet) culture, that's why some of our songs are a bit cliche and use flowery words, especially when translated in English. Because the magic of diction in the poetry are lost when translated. Sadly, because of English influence in our culture our diction in our original langguage are declining and people who speak Makata with their vast diction are sparse but very admirable, and it's very pleasing to the ears. And one way we kept our poet culture alive is through rapping, you can typically hear it in a rap battle, some banter would be so creative, a play of words that you'd have to think before you can react, a Makata rap. Unlike modern rapping which is kind of direct. Makata rap is about saying it in a round about way in all it's details.

I've been binge watching rv's of Akala and Determinado recently after it was officially released, the visualizer/lyric video, and also was performed on Rappler Live. and this video was in the recommendations after that.
