    Edit: Plovdiv, Bulgaria / Argos Greece!

      Okay, okay! I guess it's debated in every European country :) Let's say it's the oldest town in Croatia, while being more than 2400 years old, it can definitely compete with others :)

      Athens, Greece - 5000 years old
      Chania, Crete, Greece - 5000 years old
      Larnaca, Cyprus - 4000 years old

      Trikala, Greece - 4000 years old
      Lisbon, Portugal - 3000 years old
      Cádiz, Spain - 3000 years old
      In contrast to Argos, Plovdiv has more documented evidence! 🤷‍♂
