Very nice swap out Big J ! You deserve the snickers bar now :) I'm a big fan of the color swaps on grip parts it breaks up the look and makes the gun more attractive to me. go ahead and try it on.
FWIW you could use the EAA Witness as a substitute for your CZ 97b fix. I never shot a cz 97b, but if it shoots anything like an EAA Witness you wont be disappointed. Its a poly frame though so there is that, but all of the mags you ordered will still work with it.
I also have two of these they are so sweet shooting they are my go everywhere with me pistols I was told I couldn't carry them appendix, but I wanted to try and bought a muddy river tactical holster and it actually conceals very well still would like to get a p07 as my buddy has one and its also a great shooter but love the 09 for sure

Just watched the video again. I would use one of your back straps for the regular P-09 on the urban grey one to give a different look. Thinking about getting a regular P-09 myself for IWB carry. The urban grey's sights and suppressor would interfere with that mode of carry.

How do you compare the handling/follow up shot capability of the P 09 to the SP 01/Shadow/Tac Sport (metal framed) models? I only ask because of your choice for competition. I have the CZ lust bad.

I think that yours it isn't the CZ P-09 Duty, Wich comes engraved DUTY in the slide. The P-09 Duty version it's a 75 model, discontinued and, replaced for the CZ P-09 no 75 in 2014, with better materials in the frame.. Sorry for my english.. I speak Spanish.. Saludos..

not sure between getting a P07 or a P09 as a range gun, is the additional sight radius of the P09 a real benefit for target shooting at 25m, or not much in it?
Can I get an opinion on the safety vs decocker on these? I'm a 1911 guy, I like condition 1. But these thumb safeties lack any decent shelf for positive contact. Thoughts?
For these I only run the decocker for that exact reason..lack of shelf on the safety lever. I have XXL hands and big long fingers & they are just to small for me. That’s also why I have 2011’s. Thanks for Watching

The rails of the frame are reinforced with metal to withstand the friction of the slide, is that right? I would appreciate your response, please. I'm thinking of buying a CZ P09. Or maybe a CZ 75 B. Thank you very much.
I just got a CZ P-09, I do not see any metal inserts or guides in the frame rails, it appears to be all polymer to me. I also have a CZ-75 compact, I think the CZ-75 is a better design and gun. I prefer the CZ-75 compact myself.
I had basically the same experience with grab when purchasing my 1911, definitely sucks! It'll work out for you though. Am I crazy or were the Urban Grey's around $550 6-12months ago? I looked the other day & they're well over $600 now :( I like the colors stock, just my $0.02 🤙🏼

Dave Boreland As you know P10C is a SF Pistol & P09 is DA/SA so they are different, but the P09 has the Omega trigger & I like it a lot! The P-10C is a nice fit & finish but I also have the PPQ & Sig P320compact & others so right now the P10C is not really needed, maybe will have 1 in time. My P09 can hold 22 rds of 9mm as well. There is just something I really love about the P09's #CZM4L Carry On Sir!

Did you end up changing backstraps? I bet black on the grey frame looks excellent, the other way around might be a little odd.
As an alternative to the 97-B you can look at Sar K2 45. It is an amazing gun and has 14 rounds magazines.

Luis Rojas I thought the one engraved with duty (forward part of the slide) was just the Gen 1.
Surgical . Yes it is , the older version was engraved with Duty forward in the slide.
Gen 2 Duty guns do not have "duty" engraved on the front like the Gen 1's. I know I just bought a Gen2 P-09 Duty gun and it's not engraved.
