this is very helpful, thank you! i really appreciate the text running across the different parts of the builds, especially since i'm new to all of this.
Great comparison video! I've watched a decent amount of review videos for both keyboards including some that compared both but none were as clear as yours for understanding their similarities and differences! Especially appreciate that you used the same switches and essentially the same keycaps to really show off how different they can sound from each other. Keep it up, mate!
Nice comparison. I just returned my NK65 EE because of the plastic creaking sound all over the board. Was wondering if you got that too. The cheap plastic on my Blumen variant was creaking so loudly with the slightest touch that I couldn't even hear my switches. NK has some serious QC issues, which you can find as complaints once you get past the hype comments on their social media. KBD67 Lite has much less problems, but the stabs seem to need replacing. Btw, I see that your NK stabs were lubed, did it come like that? Mine came dry. And to lube them, you need to disassemble the board almost completely, same as screw-in stabs. The only difference is the actual screws on the screw-in stabs.
Probably just inadequate application of lube on those stabs, all the other vids I've seen do not have a rattle; normally the opposite as plate mounted stabs transduce more sound into the housing than the PCB mounted ones.
to use shopee do you have to be in a certain location as i like in the uk and i cant order form there. could someone please tell me if this is the case? Thanks
It depends on what you like, there isnt any 'better' option since everything is subjective. Most people (these days) prefer a softer typing experience, some describing it as 'bouncy'
Soft feel is like you type on something with little resistance or none at all. It feels like pushing something into a bouncy wood table. On the other hand, hard feel is like you type against a wall, which provides a lot of resistance. It feels like pushing something into a very hard concrete wall. Honestly, I prefer typing on a soft feel because it causes less finger fatigue for me.
Yo I have a recommendation, hk gaming pudding keycaps pbt are very popular and better than the hyper x’s, mechzone on banggood has many high quality sets
The NK65 gives a higher pitch sound compared to the KBD67 lite, the KBD67 lite is a bit louder than the NK65. As for the feel, KBD67 lite is a bit softer compared to the NK65.
The spacebar sound between the 2 keyboards gave the most distinguished difference. Was it because of the stabilizers? How come the plate mounted one sounded far better than the screw-in?
This was an awesome comparison! You used the same switches and type of keycaps to keep things fair and balanced. Damn, KBD67 Lite sounds really good.
I mean... if you used dif switches then this would not be a comparison lol. I do agree with the keycaps tho.

welcome to the addiction pal

Your videos are really top notch! And your voice is very satisfying to listen to for some reason ^^
Sus
Great video! Definitely prefer the KBD67 though the spacebar on the NK65 is not so loud. Is it because of the plate mount stabs?

Great video! Subbed :)
Thanks for the sub!

Great content dude, question, the stabs of the KBD67 lite are enough or i need to bought quality stabs?
Could you explain what you mean by soft/hard feel? Which is better for typing purposes?

@@nobueno7461 Cherry screw in stabs, RGB, QMK and VIA. ummmm

@@nobueno7461 actually nvm I’m gonna get the R2 and get durock v2 stabs holee mod and lubed with krytox 205g0
Can you review cheap pbt keycaps set like hk gaming, kprepublic etc?
Yo I have a recommendation, hk gaming pudding keycaps pbt are very popular and better than the hyper x’s, mechzone on banggood has many high quality sets
Although, HK gaming have very rude customer service.
@@Izennn Yea, I learned so much in the past time about this hobby and now I know hk gaming is shit by selling clones
Can you comment in the sound and feel on these two boards?
The NK65 gives a higher pitch sound compared to the KBD67 lite, the KBD67 lite is a bit louder than the NK65. As for the feel, KBD67 lite is a bit softer compared to the NK65.
In your opinion which of the two you like better?
I use the right CTRL a lot thus I prefer the KBD67 lite as I'm having a hard time adapting to the NK65's 1u right CTRL key.
The spacebar sound between the 2 keyboards gave the most distinguished difference. Was it because of the stabilizers? How come the plate mounted one sounded far better than the screw-in?
yo I think I saw you on ebay
Which do you prefer overall?
Great vid. Sub from me!
The stabs on the NK65 are horrible man...
