There were a lot of Filipino literature, songs written by Filipinos in Spanish including the arts and culture in the early part of the 1900s. It was the golden age of Spanish Philippines. Sadly, those were destroyed during the "Americanization" of the Philippines and ultimately, during the WW2. After that all those events, you can hardly see and feel the Spanish influence in the country. Now, it's completely gone and thankfully, Pilita's songs keep those memories of our not so distant past so that younger generation of Filipinos can reconnect with their history albeit only here in RUclips.

The last lady is called Reyna Elena. It's some what related to Reyna Elena (real history figure ) finding the cross, hence THE Reyna Elena holding a cross.
