    9:14 Holy shlt, I was NOT expecting Wino to name-drop Allan Holdsworth here. Holdsworth is my all-time favorite musician.

    Next time please check the microphones better, the sound comes only from Dave's microphone.

    Yeah, to echo warningofdanger, the mic issues make this very hard to listen to.

    haha let's not get too nit-picky here... ;)
    i think we can agree that neither band got as far as they deserved too. but ya know, we true fans are all they need according to the bands themselves, and i think the fact that most of us will be listening to these bands still even when we're so old we look like Dave Chandler, is a testament to their true success!

    Man as a fan and recovering addict i should have known Wino was using meth again as he looks terrible here. They all look very rough for just being in their mid 50s . I am not putting them down just being honest because i hate what drugs including booze when abused do to people.

    shame they didn't mention that they broke up for more than 10 years & Dave dumped his Debris Inc. band to follow the money & play for Johnny-come-latelys & Scion reunion bullshit.

    But Pentagram isn't doom metal, they are more Heavy Metal with Blues influences

    • @BSIII
      @BSIII 4 года назад +4

      I know your comment is years old, but Pentagram is absolutely doom metal. Songs like Burning Savior, Evil Seed, Petrified, Megalania. Even the old stuff like Forever My Queen is doom.

    • @vidalpintor4524
      @vidalpintor4524 3 года назад

      @@BSIII doom is just a label for the most part even Geoff says that the bands influencing pentagram were hard rock bands like captain beyond and blue cheer. Its just heavy hard rock

    • @BSIII
      @BSIII 3 года назад +1

      @@vidalpintor4524 sabbath never called themselves doom, or metal, but they are doom/metal. Goeff wrote the inserts and the website, which states Bedemon, "america's first doom metal band". Bedemon is much more doomy than Pentagram. Listen to 'Child of Darkness' from 1973.
      There is a purpose for labelling and genres. It lets people find similar music to that genre. Forever my queen is heavy metal. Review your choices = doom. The early 80s era with Victor Griffin, who graduated from Iommi University, is doom.

    • @vidalpintor4524
      @vidalpintor4524 3 года назад +1

      @@BSIII at least its not labeled stoner rock. Bedemon does deserve more recognition cuz i love Randy Palmer (RIP) victor griffin is a really good guitarist for pentagram and couldnt have thought of anyone better and that could take bobby's for that long too lmao Wartime is probably the my favorite 80's pentagram song cuz i always look for groovy 70's heavy rock since thats what i hear and what i look for

    • @BSIII
      @BSIII 3 года назад +1

      @@vidalpintor4524 i agree! Palmer was insanely good at those dark riffs, lyrics, and vibe. I fell in love with the rough Bedemon recordings. Special stuff. Wartime is badazz, and my fav from the Death Row/Victor era is probably Burning Savior.
