The powerful women voice that sang in the end is Floor Jansen from Nightwish, she is married to Hannes Van Dahl, one of the members in Sabaton. Thank you for talking about Jesus, you just got a new member.
Tommy was part of Sabaton, until this past year. Now he's only doing solo work, and working with his two personal bands. This is a wonderful presentation. I can't watch it without tears running down like crazy. My dad was in World War 2. He told stories of similar things. Plus he made sure all of us children knew and understood of the way that political views that I won't name here will tear down people from the inside. We learned about God and His love for all of creation, from both my Mom and Dad. I've been grateful for the way we were brought up -- even when I took 14 years to try to walk away from God. It doesn't work. I know first hand. His love never lets go. 😀 Thank you, Trisha, and Matt, both, for this reaction.
Yes you are correct that is the one and only Tommy Johansson! Hope you keep reacting to more Tommy. Please do oh Helga natt . It's so mind blowing from him
No way! You actually finally listened to Sabaton!!! How awesome, you gotta listen to them more (probably on your own time!) And if this is your second reaction, I gotta find the first one! Oh, and thank you for the uplifting message about hope! God bless!
Well, I'm shocked no one has mentioned this yet so I guess it's up to me! This is one of the connections to follow in the Swedish rabbit hole you started with our boy Tommy! The drummer for Sabaton is Hannes (the one shocked by the grenade), he is married to Floor the singer of Nightwish who you heard sing over the credits, another band that is worth checking out! I also would like to recommend you react to Sabaton's "Last Stand"! ❤
Thanks for a nice reaction. Sabaton is an awsome band and Tommy is the best. Agrees with earlier post. You should react to him doing Oh helga natt (Oh holy night in swedish). And you should check out Erik Grönvall and his version of Oh holy night. Another awsome Swede 🙂 Merry Christmas
This song was my introduction to Sabaton a few years ago in a Livestream and I was blown away! I enjoy a lot of their music and then learning the history
great reaction, more Sabaton please. Sabaton is a Swedish band with a loooong list of history based music. Sabaton also has an award winning history channel that gives background to over 120 if their songs (not music award, academic, aimed at education of the public) . Sabaton videos often have dedications and/or messages at the end, perhaps not always but... watching to the very end is frequently well worth it. Animated STORY videos (short Animated history lessons with music videos in them) No bullets fly, enemy showing mercy to injured aircrew in a nearly wrecked aircraft barely still flying, even escorting them to safety. Night witches, Young (17-28) female bomber pilots in ww2 fighting the Nazi despite the discrimination they faced and being given obsolete equipment, aircraft ... Lady of the dark, female fighting alongside men during ww1 and being highly respected and even more decorated. Red baron, the famous fighter pilot of ww1 first soldier, unlikely French hero in ww1. Epic ORIGINAL videos. Bismark, about the sinking of the ship you just saw Christmas truce, about the spontaneous truce in some parts of the western front during Christmas 1914 40:1, about polish soldiers, badly outnumbered (just under 750 in all) facing 42 000 germans, they where BADLY outgunned desperately defending against the German invasion 1939 (with odds actually close to 55:1 they held for 3 DAYS when ammunition and supplies ran out. Uprising, the Warsaw Uprising against the nazi germans during 1944. To hell and back, they tell the story of Audie Murphy (highly decorated) and his struggle AFTER the war, so about PTSD and drug addiction that returning soldiers can face. Fields of verdun, the 300+ day long battle fought there. Price of a mile, about the battle of Passchendaele Screaming Eagles, about the battle of the bulge Live performances 40:1 from poland Uprising from poland En livstid I krig live from Göteborg Sweden (in Swedish but there are subtitles) , very heavy again, about thoughts of a young man going to war. Two covers that are good Defence of Moscow, self explained 1916 about the devastating battle of the somme in ww1, casualties topped 1 milion if you count both sides, all for 6 miles of ground, these are just some, there are plenty more.
I love Sabaton purely because of the power that each song gives off. Each song is a wave of energy and power that threatens to engulf you. ~ That song really showed the beauty of the Christmas Truce. How they put down their weapons and enjoyed Christmas together. no war, no weapons, no violence, just HAPPINESS AND PEACE ~ 🕊️🏳️☮️✌🏼 Did you see Tommy Johansson with a moustache? 〰️🎸🤭 Love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Idk if you noticed this or not but Floor Jansen was doing the vocals during the end credits, she's married to the drummer for Sabaton. Merry Christmas!
If you want an awesome live song with Sabaton you should react to en livstid I krig (a lifetime of war) live Scandinavium Gothenburg. The album Carolus rex they had released during that time is about a part of Swedish history called the era of great power (stormaktstiden in Swedish) from when Sweden was a much bigger nation with ambitions of expanding. The album was released with both an Swedish and English version, the differenc being that the Swedish one tells the story from our/a Swedish soldiers view and the English is more from an outsiders view. It is the Swedish version they played at that show so be sure the subtitles are on,I was at that show and all I can say is that you will not regret it.
Amen brother and Welcome to Sabaton yes Tommy is the man!. Will be missed Now the guy who almost got blown up by a grenade his name is Hannes and he's there drummer he is married to the lady who loaned her vocals in the end credits Floor Jansen Dutch singer of the band Nightwish. Also Sabaton have many other great emotion songs based on true historical events but there is one song that was a Motorhead song they remade to respect the band and the loss of their vocalist Lemmy and that's the song 1916 an amazing song worth a look.
Years ago my sons and I discovered a movie called Joyeux Noel and it was based off of this truce. Great movie and it is one of our go to Christmas movies. Great reaction, thank you and Merry Christmas ✝️🙏🎄
Sabaton's song, Caroleans's Prayer, tells about the religious fatalism of the Swedish Carolean soldiers of the 17th and 18th century. That fatalism made them very fearless and effective on the battle field.. The best part of the song is sung in Swedish, and that is the Swedish version of the Lord's Prayer. It's one of my favourite Sabaton songs and I'm sure you'll like too..
Also as right now is the 80th Anniversary for the WW2 Battle of the Bulge you should listen to their song "Screaming Eagles" about the 101st Airborne during that battle.
I think that we can agree that this ihad more substance and storytelling than some full sized Holywood productions and a very good message. yes, simple, but very true, war=BAD peace=Good. few argue with that I guess, yes, there is the ooold saying "wish for peace but be prepared for war" we know it is true, same way sailors say "pray for good weather but be prepared for a storm" is also true, they are simply found to be very good ways to do things throughout history.
I told this in another reaction of Christmas Truce. I say it again. Christians have sth you can't take away or make us not believe. We have the strength of forgivnes. You can intimidate us but you can't never, ever, take away our believe of forgivnes. That's why the muslims hate us so much. Because we have God on our side. Don't forget! / Micke P
Look man, I appreciate your message of love and kindness. I really do. So I am not saying this with any hostility. But when you say "for those of you who don't believe, deep down you know", that can actually come across as pretty condescending. I am a non-believer who fully respects your belief. And I would like that respect reciprocated for my non-belief. Rather than telling me that I am in denial because I deep down actually know your truth. This is not an argument about whether there is a god or not. I'm not fighting you on any of these issues. This is about respecting people who happen to not share your belief. I don't share your belief in your Lord and Savior but I acknowledge and respect that you hold that belief sincerely as truth. So all I ask is that you extend the same respect back. Rather than telling me that deep down I know that you are right. If I told you that deep down you know that we're just an animal that will die without an afterlife, wouldn't you find that condescending? That I came and told you what you yourself know deep down to be true? Because I am not doing that. I respect your belief that I don't share. Mutual respect among people of different or no religions. I'm sorry for this long ass rant.
No one's dismantling Christianity,Jesus was a cool dude, probably the worlds first anarchist.Fight the power as he gave the bird to the Roman power. It's the American Jesus that's kinda off the charts for every non US evangelical human being. And there are many gods out there.By Odin, may you and your loved ones have a Valhalla epic wonderful holiday ❤
To much Jesus talk regarding to the dark history in Christianity and other religious community… most war starts with religion…. But nice reaction anyway ❤
@ullis5125 I appreciate you being civil i truly respect those that can do this. We don't have to agree but we can be civil towards each other so thank you! I agree on the religion part but don't blame Jesus for people not truly following the Gospel during those times. God Bless and thanks for the comment.
@reddiamondstone you can click off the video at any time. Maybe there is a reason you came to this reaction. Jesus is very real and I pray you come to know Him. God Bless!

Wow! I ve seen this video before, but it still has an impact

If you want to listen to another Sabaton song with a Christian theme, I suggest The Last Stand!
Also Carolean's Prayer (the chorus is Lord 's prayer in Swedish)

You really should stop gaslighting non-christians.
It's bad salesmanship to tell someone what they think and believe

Sabaton is not so good to watch on a small screen. Had to leave early.
Just put it on full screen!
Shame you have to keep ramming your personal beliefs down our throat.
