I play this song everyday, I’ve saved it to my playlist in my phone. It’s the presentation of the song for me, I love it so much & it touches me every time I hear it!
Both my sons are VSU Alumni's I am so proud of you all. Keep sing unto the LORD the hymns that helped us make it over. God Bless VSU Ghorale and all of the students persueing their degrees.
LOVE IT! The best I've seen of this song, music, choir and anointing! ...Bevy814, with the room he had to work with looks like that's the best he could do. As a keyboardist/organist I would somehow turn that 88 key keyboard around facing the director bc my neck would be in much pain turning trying to watch the director. ...P. S. and come on guys, rehearsal is one thing but for the real performance guys, get that junk off the top of that organ..cap, etc lol
I agree, this does sound amazing, but away from the original tech and tone of the song as it was written. The arrangement was a bit too contemporary for me in certain sections
In the 80's and early 90's "SUZIE WRIGHT" used to rulke this choir under her command! They were nothing but the truth...winning competions everywhere they went!
Been a Choir Director for over 50 years, I don't understand why he has the Soprano/Alto sections not facing him directly. They should be facing him not looking over their shoulders. I understand the position of the microphones.

That clasp of the hands that the choir were doing was only supposed to be for sopranos and Altos not men not tenors nor basses LOL 🤭
Not my favorite....this song is more chorale. Not what I’m hearing

I like how the other choirs start off soft.
