@rhondawest2821 Brent isn't the issue his staff is the issue, and they are srent recruiting to the Caliber they need to truly compete in the SEC.
Our OL recruitng has been Horrendous under Bedenbaugh since 2022, and our DL recruitng JUST got to the point of being decent, and while it APPEARED like we were getting some good receivers the young guys we got aren't doing it right now.
I said it from day 1 when Brent got there and we were going to the SEC... ALL you need is an elite defense and an offense that can score 28 points.
If oklahoma was able to score 28 points, they would at least be 6-2 or even arguably 7-1.
He needs to fix his staff and everything else will follow, and that training room needs to be looked at.

After what we saw in the first half of last game, it is possible to become bowl eligible. If the coaches come up with a game plan that Jackson has the ball for 2 seconds only. Run and short passes to begin with.

Looking at the recruting classes, this is why the OL is in the situation it is... in 2022, you only recruited 2 offensive linemen... that is Criminal, and then in 2023, you might as well say you only recruited 2 as well because Green is no longer with OU..
And for the guys that have been here since 2022 and 2023, that's some piss poor development on Bill Bedenbaughs end. And the evaluations were a miss... Ozeata and Howland are struggling
The results speak for themselves, and the evidence is there for all to see. Using the portal in place of good recruiting is not a good idea for long-term success, and we are seeing them right now.
If they dont replace him, he *HAS* to recruit better and consistently, like in 2024, and consistently grab 1 or 2 tackles that high 4 stars or better.
Think in 21 he only recruited 2 also hence why we can't develop or have peeps with experience now

The offense actually looked like a college offense they were able to move the ball in the first half, the line with Sexton was creating holes now they did give up two sacks on the two plays after Sexton went out. The 2nd half the line was bad and then they couldn't do anything, as for the check downs thetly were there and they worked which makes the chains move

@@richardyoung2652 Missouri is Averaging 15 in conference play and we are averaging 13.6 with tougher opponents. Missouri had to come from behind against Auburn at home. We will beat Maine and have a good shot at beating Missouri even if our offense doesn't improve.
