In the case of LINEBACKER, the sequel was far better. LINEBACKER I restricted B-52s to missions in S. VIetnam. With LINEBACKER II, the BUFFs were turned loose on the North, and the N. Vietnamese quickly decided to negotiate in earnest.

I didn't like Linebacker 2. Sequels are never as good as the original. I felt the same about Rocky.
