You, my friend are absolutely bang on in your observation here. I have often thought that same sentiment throughout the years. Fortunate to have seen these guy's somewhere around '79, or '80 at the Gardens in London, Ontario, Canada. It's really incredible how many phenomenal bands passed thru that part of Ontario back in the 70s and 80s. You might think you would have to travel to Toronto, or Detroit to see many of the greatest rock acts in the business. But many of them made their way through various smaller cities during their North American tours. Yes, very fortunate indeed!! Good health to you kevinpeaker1353, and all the best in 2023!!
Saga is a progressive rock band that I like to listen to in the gym. My fave is the perfectionist from their debut. Guitars are the essential quotient of their music. They are unique and have to listen to them for a couple of times to appreciate their spark. :)
First time listening to this album all the way through. I've made my own playlist on my iTunes but the way this is performed absolutely blows me away. I'm not the biggest fan of No Regrets as a standalone song, but when played in the context of the entire story, it melts me to pieces. Incredible.
If you don’t know what Chapters is about or how it came about then look it up. 28 years in the making, an incredible story. Who else would have such vision and foresight?
o.O This CD is rare - and expensive! - as gold: 150$ on Amazon!!!!!!! The worst thing (for me) is that I've got ALL SAGA albums except this one, but not 'cause I haven't buyed it: 'cause I lost it! >:( So... Thanks!
@@pilotfish4171 Yep, I just finish to download a couple of bootlegs... ;-) Maybe you already know it, but there's a problem with SILENT KNIGHT: no way to see it... Error message: "Video not available" (or something like that: I read the italian version).
@@pilotfish4171 No links for the bootlegs... and I don't need to buy (again) the others. As I said, I've got ALL of them (SILENT KNIGHT included, but I was curious about your "re-EQs" ;-) Oh, speaking of that, I noticed there's two "Careful where you step" in it... Why? o.O
Ian effing Crichton, the MOST underrated guitarist ever!!!!
So fluid.... damn! in this version of "Don't be late" he's on fire.
