Late to the comment party... but song construction aside, this song could be honestly put up against any of the 80's Joan Jett songs...she just sounds great, and the attitude..oh the idea of her covering Joan Jett or Heart songs...eargasm!
She can sing pop, rock, reggae, jazz and etc..She has on her own style of singing only that she cannot hit anymore the high notes bcoz she had an operation on her vocal affecting her voice... Winning a competition is not important to us..You showed the world of your talent, your own style..Thank you China for letting her perform in your country..And thank you Jackie Tam as well for taking care of her..Amazing
KZ used to be a belter when she was very young, but she developed polyps in her throat. She thought of giving up singing because the condition dampened her voice. Fortunately, she made a comeback proving that an artist like her is so much more than her ability to belt. She is the "soul supreme" of the Philippines - a genuine artist and our treasure. 😊
Unfortunately that happens a lot between young talent who can't afford good signing teachers because of precarious economics situation (like me). Just as her did developed cord damage but every now an tben I can do high notes but carefully. She's great thought
I am glad she is better cause I love her, but the high notes not make a singer the low soft notes do just as much and she has them.....Belting is nothing more than screaming in most cases

The Singer had been a great venue for her to showcase her talent to people around the world and obviously everyone knows that she's too talented for that stage. You know, what’s amazing about KZ, if you followed her journey , you can really see that”she was born with “IT”, something inborn about her, can’t pinpoint what it is, but every-time she perform, she give it all and you can really feel her artistry. Yes, she doesn’t have a big or high range because she had a polyp removed from her throat when she was younger, probably damaged something in her vocal cord, contemplated quitting singing, thank God she didn’t. Thanks for the reactions guys! KZ is fortunate to be singing at all, she almost lost her voice from a throat problem in high school. That is why she can't hit the high notes anymore, she was the winner of season 1 of X-Factor Philippines in 2012.
