My first guess would be the key is not fully inserted. It is a common mistake. Second guess they gave you the wrong keys.

We think everything looks perfect
Ok for cost.
But weakness is lock mechanism, one ball is inside the lock after 2 or 3 months it will stuck and lock is not working now.
