I strongly recommend Barbarossa customs too. Thanks to him, I was able to have Merman’s belt, the handcuffs from Snake Mountain and the Sorceress staff. And, since he was a little late for the sorceress staff, he send me a glow in the dark Horde trooper staff. I was lucky, because I just bought a Horde trooper without staff ! A very cool and nice gift !
I have been considering buying one of his pieces for a while now and I think after watching this there is no question that I should get one of his pieces!

The little red piece is for the back of Flying fists He Man and Terror claws Skeletor (A highly desirable piece). also if you buy the new reissued/Vintage head versions of He man or Skeletor you actually get a full power sword now 👍
My favourite head they did for MOTU Classics (the 7” line) is the mini comic He-Man head. I’m blown away he’s been able to make that for origins. Definitely going to order from this fella. Making an origins version of the club grayskull Skeletor head is genius too. Great video as usual.
Recently received my own alcala skeletor head. Absolutely incredible quality, better than the promo pictures. And the fact you don't need any silly stickytack putty to attach (they fit as is like original mattel heads) is a HUGE plus. VERY recommended. Strangely, the hood colour of the head matches my vintage battlearmor skeletors armor and boots PERFECTLY but is rather different from my darker bluish hong kong vintage skeletor armor AND different from the origins first wave skeletor boots and armor. I display mine shirtless anyway, but something to take into account. I'll be watching this guys website.

I would've done a set of OoLar (The jungle He Man) The Green Goddess and mini comic inspired accessories to make Oolar into He Man while with Grayskull we could've gotten the spirit the armor and the trap door while in wave 6 we would get the Sorceress

It is possible to close the mouth on the skeletor head by putting it in boiling water then forcing it closed whilst it cools down, remember to wear gloves. Think it was on Hebros channel. These custom parts look brilliant can't wait for the restoration.
I love the new Masters of the Universe Origin figures but I really don’t like the new head sculpts for Heman and Skeletor. With that being said, I must say that the new hand made Barbarossa head sculpts look absolutely fantastic and they are sooo much better than what Mattel did. This is why I love watching your videos. I’m definitely going to be purchasing Heman and Skeletor’s head from Barbarossa. It’s true when they say the fans are doing the best work! Thanks again for the great info! Cheers!

I think my mindset is; if it is something I still have from my childhood, even though it is chewed up or crushed, I wont replace it. There's memories associated with that. If it's an accessory that got lost over the years, I'll happily get a reproduction. Even though I don't display them, it's the OCD part of me that wants it to be as complete as possible. I have an old Star Wars mini rig that had never had its stickers applied to it. I bought repro stickers from ebay just to finish it off. Not for any purpose other than to satisfy my OCD side.
These are fantastic, I've not ordered Motu but I do have one of his custom Gamorrean Guards that look like Tron. Awesome stuff, I'd love to have a go at some of his Motu custom pieces.
I’m happy you had a good experience with Barbarossa. I bought a few pieces a couple years ago for my Classics Skeletor and was pretty disappointed. The colors were far off for the head & the havoc staff seemed to be made of silly putty.

Well I'm glad you got your items from him. I ordered a particular He-Man head from him (that I can in the video you recieved) back in June and he never sent it until I put in a PayPal dispute, weeks after the estimated delivery date. Now it's saying it's been delivered to an address in New Jersey, which is all well and good, but I live in Australia. For a first time customer, I'm not impressed. Buyer beware.
Wow, they're really good! I've taken a look at the heads in particular on his website, and that one that looks more like the cartoon version of He-Man (that you can see on the back of his flyer at the end of the video) is one I would buy right away if I could get my hands on an Origins locally. It looks like the head sculpts are based either on the original heads, the cartoon or the original mini comics. The cartoon laughing Skeletor is just amazing. They're basically what the toys should have looked like in whichever version that was released (OG or Origins). Incredible, really.
That Sorceress' staff is a minor miracle. I was looking on ebay to price the Origins figure not long ago, and the prices for the original staff are, on one hand, absurd, and on the other, somewhat justified, considering that I lost my childhood figure's staff too, and need a replacement. Certainly don't mind if it's a replica. Delighted to see he'll have all the parts for EvilLyn and Teela, as well.

Im a toy collector myself, andi love videos like these, toy fairs, buying new toys, old toys, reproduction toys etc, but theres one thng all of us toy colkectors in whatever shape or form we do it, we all push the price of old toys up, to the point where they cant be afforded by the very peopke they were created for - the kids! There are a few toys i had when i was a kid, that i have introduced my grandchildren to, and they want their own to play with, and the only way that will happen is if i pay for the overpriced stuff that is available. I feel bad for getting them in to the toys now, knowing we will struggle to get hold of some of them, either because they cost too much or scarcity created by toy hunters all going after them and again pushing the orice up more in the process. Hopefully i can cone across some old unloved ones i can bring back to a playable state using toy polloi's techniques I've learned over the years! Another great video!

I’ve seen Barbarossa Customs before through another RUclipsr, the repro accessories they got look pretty good. But I see they are now at making custom accessories for Origins and found a way to make a figure from scratch. They definitely have come a long way since I last saw them. I’m curious to see how that restoration and repro build for Laser Light Skeletor will work out.

Well if you wanted to use Barbarossa for replacement missing parts in a lot of cases it works out more expensive than buying a donor figure or a complete figure. The terror claws accessory pack for eg is $65.00 , now had it been $20-$30 it would have been a fair deal.
These are hand cast not mass produced and I can see the hours that go into producing them. They are a good option for many people, and it's nice someone is making them, even if they are not for you. Cheers

Great haul! The red clip belongs to Flying Fists He-Man. Terror Claws Skeletor has a similar one, but it's narrower.

Just so that everyone knows, Barbarossa are no longer operating as of December. Their leftover stock is being sold off via eBay, then they're done.

It happens quite often. Some people collect short fills.
Barbarossa Customs is great in theory, but every item that I want to order from there has been out of stock for months.
