Autorhythmic Fibers of the Heart (The Conduction System)

In this video, I will explain the autorhythmic fibers (conduction system) of the heart including the location and physiology of the sinoatrial/SA node, atrioventricular/AV node, bundle of His/atrioventricular bundle, bundle branches, subendocardial conducting network/Purkinje fibers. Then, I will explain how the autorhythmic fibers set the rhythm of heart contraction and how the autonomic neurotransmitters (norepinephrine and acetylcholine) and hormones (epinephrine and norepinephrine) modify the activity of these cardiac muscle fibers.
