  • My personal collection of 16mm trailers & TV spots from the 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s I physically cut together for screening nights with the buddies, including vintage intermission adverts.
    Trailers &TV spots include:
    Apocalypse Now
    Dawn of the dead (1978)
    King Kong (1976)
    Motel Hell
    The Barefoot Mailman
    Don't go in the house
    Psycho (1960)
Some trailers are faded to red due to the age of the film I purchased not being looked after properly although it is still watchable. I tried my best to lessen this effect after transferring it onto the computer.

Even though I wasn’t around then, these ads are what made the movies so much more enjoyable. For people that disagree with that, simply do not understand movies clearly. Great stuff!

Very similar to UK cinema trailers of the period. As we ended up with the American prints, but with new voice overs for our certifications: U/A/AA/X

10:36- "The Barefoot Mailman" (1951) was initially released in black and white on TV (hence, the Screen Gems TV logo at the end).

Apocalypse Now: "The most eagerly awaited film of all time!"
Not by Viet Nam vets. Buuuuut with the passage of time Apocalypse Now is considered the best family comedy ever! (LoL!)
