Collar pet cameras are all the rage these days. Capturing video from your pets point of view (pov) is super fun, often interesting and funny! I have been a fan of Mr Petcam brand cameras for a long time and had their first generation camera back in 2017. Since then, they have released their new pet collar camera Mr Petcam HD which has many improvements over the first generation.
In this comparison video, I talk about price, size, weight, attachment methods, night vision, waterproof and battery run time.
I was hoping to buy a cat collar camera for my young nieces and nephews this coming Christmas. I decided to purchase the other pet collar cameras available to hopefully save some money. Turns out, Mr Petcam HD is still the best, in my humble opinion. In this video, I talk about the features of each camera. Their qualities and lack there of.

No, you cannot they all record to a micro SD card. I heard Mr Petcam is working on a live stream camera according to their newsletter. Not sure if or when it will be released.

@@theguywithone The issue with small live stream cameras as it KILLS the battery life. I think there are few cameras people have retrofitted to their pets collar but they only get 20 ish minutes of streaming. On top of that, it only reaches the standard WiFi range which is about 40 ft. Hopefully as technology progresses, both of these things will increase!
My a100 cam films standard at speed x2, how do i change it??
I could never figure that out. I think it's a bug. I ended up returning the camera

Mr petcam has mad black crush, no detail there, A100 is better but the angles a bit shit.
I think the low light detail on the petcam HD is actually quite good. By far, better than the other cameras I tested which you can't see any detai in my fast walking example in the video.
