Who is the Greatest Dynoist of all Time?

  • Rock Climbing is full of incredible athletes, but when it comes to dynos, one stands above all the rest. Tomoa Narasaki has proven time and time again to be the most consistent and skillful climber when it comes to dynos. Coordination dynos, overhang dynos, massive dynos; it doesn't matter to Tomoa. He will send them all because he is the greatest dynoist of all time.

    The humility in this video is amazing, giving a smaller, arguably less established dynoist some well deserved attention. Very humble to pass on your title of best dynoist on to the second place.

    I am 170cm tall (almost) and 58kg (almost). This is clearly a sign that I am the next Tomoa Narasaki.

    There is an Australian guy named Mattias braach-maksvytis. In Rocklands he has opened some of the most ridiculous dynos you can imagine. Some of them are absolutely monstrous. One in particular is called 'Bloodflood' which comes in around 8A+. In terms of dyno vision on rock he is an absolute legend. If you ever in Rocklands go give some of his test pieces a go ;)

      I saw a post on Instagram the other day of a guy going for a truly unbelievable V14 dyno, looked like Rocklands. Is that him?

    • @evocardopearclimbing
      @evocardopearclimbing Год назад +1

      @Kieran Kaempen could be. Rocklands rock is orange/red and very solid looking. If it is him that would be insane because V14 dyno is literally the hardest move in the world basically 😂 would love to see that clip.

      @@evocardopearclimbing Just checked, it is him. If you go to his Instagram it’s about 14 posts back. Can’t post a link because RUclips, obviously. I don’t believe he’s done the move yet (and I think he has to wait now because the season is over), but it’s insane to see the attempts.

    You actually left out his most historic dyno!!
    The "tomoa skip" .
    It's in speed climbing, so not real climbing, but still. 😅
    He actually changed the way everyone is going up that wall and becoming a legend.

    Dyno became very important in gym bouldering but certainly not for rock climbing. Rock climbing include indoor and outdoor bouldering, top rope, lead, trad or free solo, sport route or multi pitch, big walls, certainly not jumping all the time. Dyno became very popular in bouldering because it gives a good show, now to get good in any bouldering route you have to develop parkour abilities.

      It may not be as important but the skills often translate to general dynamic moved. Also there definitely some famous outdoor dynos (e.g. rainbow rocket)

    Tomoa sometimes need to rein in that dyno energy. Maybe build up more stamina. His explosive strength with very little windup is the one of the best among any athletes in sports. Now I'm wondering if he can dunk a basketball at official height ring.

    get my doubt. and a strong sureness in idea that dyno almost isn't important at all in rock climbing.
    in competitive climbing - yes, for sure.
    in rock climbing - no, at all.
