  • These are the lost deleted scenes from robots that I found last year, I always think about uploading it but not completely I should do it.
some of these scenes were briefly shown on some other people's videos talking about this "chris wedge cut" thing. but they never uploaded these clips on RUclips. I found another animation test on RUclips, but I kinda forgot about the name, so here it is!
I'm probably gonna get another copyright claim......😒
Robots is owned by Blue Sky Studios

I hope there's more unused scenes because Robots is one of those movies where it feels there's something missing. Don't get me wrong on this. I love the movie, but it always bothers me that this movie have some scenes that should've stayed in the movie. It's even more bothersome that the DVD constants 3 deleted scenes. I honestly don't think the director's cut of the movie is happening because Blue Sky is shut down by the evil overlord that shall not be name. But it'll be nice to speak with Chris Wedge on how the process of the film went and why so many scenes are cut out of the movie. But for now, at least we have this piece of lost media.

0:50, I feel like this scene is when Rodney is called the sucessor of Bigweld Industries, it could've been used for a sequel which Ratchet tests him about if he thinks he really accepted change in the big city.

Most of this is actually in the movie, say.
Although I do feel curious about this one 0:50 that scene would have taken place the first time we see Bigweld Industries right? Looks like Ratchet first interrogates Rodyney instead of kicking him out at once.
Whatever, thank you for this. If there's something you can't find plenty of on the internet, it's this kind of stuff.

1:19 Dr. V Needle was a character cut from the movie. If only they made a Netflix series of the movie, then he would have gotten a chance to shine as the main antagonist. Along with Ratchet getting revenge and Gunk also getting his revenge on Rodney and his father. Because Mr copper Bottom owns the diner now. Hence the reason why V Needle helps Gunk get REVENGE by upgrading him. Along with Ratchet too.

When Rachet knocks out Bigweld, there was originally going to be a doctor in the room that gave him a lobotomy, but the scene was cut because the voice actor for the doctor passed away before any lines were recorded. This looks like it could be a shot from that.

Movies back then were absolutely magical, in storytelling and scope. The beautiful scores were final icing on the cake 🎂. There's no magic or inspiration anymore 😢, seems to be all be political and personal agendas and corporate profit. I've noticed that most movies scores sounds very generic with "NO" heart or emotions. I really want to bringing the back those types of movies that I grew up with ever since I was toddler and younger ages in 2000s era with more "Absolutely Magical", "Storytelling" and "Scope". Even more "Heart and Emotion". There totally needs to be a time when humans really need to make a "True" animated movies that touched the soul and heart of the viewers of all ages. Somebody hand-drawn and computer animation, it's not just the movies, TV shows as well for all ages on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, and the Walt Disney company needs to take there place in the circle of animations shows and movies for everyone. I hope sometimes in the future, My family would see the newspaper or different articles on the internet of their own cellphones 📱 about I finally got my dream job as "Ian Cassidy save the Walt Disney Company for bringing the 2-D animated style in order pay homage and tribute to past Disney's 2-D animated style movies were made in old glory days". "Ian Cassidy made his promise to have more Magic and/or Inspiration from 2-D animated movies from Disney". "Walt Disney Company made a agreement with Ian Cassidy to have Disney's 2-D animated style movies to have music to be more Heart and Emotion with Absolutely Magical, Storytelling and Scope as well". "The Walt Disney Company celebrated Ian Cassidy's birthday party for being our Savior of bringing the old school Disney 2-D animated style movies". I'm thinking Disney stuff never meant always for Kids, it's for everyone mostly adults back in the day, same with Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry, unlike nowadays everything is for kids and family. Movies back then taught us about importance of friendship, loyalty, kindness, compassion, determination, etc. A lot of movies do that, but there are still some good ones. The main ones that awful to me that are intentionally bad just for money, a cash grab. 😒 Cause The old Disney movies were so awesome had a little dark things that you don't see now those days in Disney movies. Movies still have an important message though but the movies are too sweet, there's a video Looney Tunes that they are soft and not that dangerous silliness we know. Because it's saver for the kids? I mean I can understand kids now those days are misunderstanding and would do anything for likes and views but making the cartoons soft won't change the fact that they grow up to be misunderstood, they become uncaring anyways because of the internet. People became too soft, real snowflakes. Wow, I really miss the good old days, when Cartoons were good. Today it's a quick cash grab, with use of effects and big names in the movies. I love the storytelling part, the sending a message to the audience, that's what should be, the soul and heart needs to come back in films and Hollywood became too powerful, meaning they can get away with making bad movies. Back then movies had individualist them, today it's about ideas like social justices and feminism. Those ideas take away from the true hero's journey and make it difficult to identify with the characters. This is the reason so many people nowadays just stick with the older movies, and the ones grew up with because that's precisely what those kinds of movies did for them. They were heartfelt, funny, for all the ages, full of value, and are consistently good every time you watch them. While one of the purposes was the company to make money, they still wanted to deliver a quality product to the viewers and it feels like they've lost that. We took for granted 💔 how well animated movies in 1990s and 2000s were, outside the animation being revolutionary for it's time, the writing was also well written that even being 30. I can still watch movies like Ice Age (2002) and actually enjoy. Yes and alot have avoided those powerful morally complex story's in favor of something safer. Sure the effects look amazing but heart isn't there anymore, The Toy Story series is an exception because of all fours have are capable of rivaling each other. Who says that Disney movies are just for kids? Adults can watch it as well, They have some life lessons which applies to both kids and adults. For example, what do we learn from The Little Mermaid, from my perspective, that movie learned us that never sell yourself to an evil person, also if the deal is bad, don't take it. What about Cinderella? It taught us that dreams can come true and no matter with circumstances be always good and kind. What about Pocahontas? Love conquer all and one must find their own way, other movies which has powerful messages, excellent music. Nowadays everything is must be political ,which is sad and heartbreaking 💔. I definitely want to bring it back for my dream job in the future. Movies today are made to appeal to as wide an audience as possible and make as much money as possible. Back in the day while profit and marketability was important producers and directors had more freedom to be creative and make movies that were original, innovative and memorable. People think it's all nostalgia goggles and being unfair to modern movies, but No. It's all the value and quality of the movies back then, the delivery, lessons everything all that is gone nowadays. Technology creates the story these days, not the soul of the writer. Like how back in the old good days, we didn't over-analyze anything. We just sat back and enjoyed stuff. 😉 Animated movies are not like what they once were, the effort, the details and the passion just aren't there anymore in modern animated movies, really sad. Movies in nowadays are made by algorithms, not people. Today's Cartoons don't have as many good, fun and exciting masterpieces as the old cartoons. Too political...everything has to have "a message"... and the sense of pure fun is missing. I also find alot of movies nowadays try to be comedy's with over the top cringey dialogue and try way to hard to be funny, Not everybody wants to be laughing throughout the entirety of the movie (Or so they expect us to be laughing). It seriously is heartbreaking to see all that hard work and time people put into a film only for it to be completely thrown out near the end because studio executives lost faith in it. I can't imagine how frustrating that is. We don't want or need a joke evey two seconds, just give us a movie where the serious scenes don't get ruined by an out of place joke. That's not how movies should be made, technology is supposed to simplify our lives, and should not mean taking responsibilities away from us altogether. Box Office movies nowadays wouldn't even hold a candle even to a classic cartoon like This (The Land Before Time) in terms of depth and feel. Those big hits feel like they are just watched because of their name brand, not because of the quality itself at all. Once you watch them, they make you feel like you just wasted your time leading up to it and the huge money of it too. That's why I feel like a winner when I don't watch the movies of this decade or even past decade.
