As a shorts creator mostly.. youtube has this. its because the videos are timed in milliseconds. if your video is 6.40 seconds. The platform will sometimes round that video up to 7 seconds and give you a 0% engagement for that .20 seconds. I try and make all my shorts end with .55 seconds. Ive had good luck with that.
Agreed, I would love to see this. I focus on photography but I don’t want to make reels or videos. I just want to post my photography, but I would like to grow a little bit at least.

Not one single follow... nothing fixes it and I am one of them. So it's a social media app without being sociable. We are getting very deflated by all the crap. How about a chat with your buddy who runs the whole mess? Please help us all we need you.
To be honest if your content is good just be consistent with it, provide value to your viewers and engage with them. Algorithm keeps changing, but it cannot take value from your content 👍
Since every video about getting reach in Instagram is about reels, is it so, that one just can't grow with only photos? For example, I work full time in non photography related business. Photography is serious hobby that I wish I could monetize some day. But since I have a full time job, I just don't have time to try to make viral reels, so I could post many of those during the week...
I’ve gotten 5 viral videos 2-3 weeks n after posting… my advice, if you have good content and you’re happy with it, just post it and forget about the performance. 5-7 second reels in the fashion niche does better than 10+ seconds.

Could you please look into something very important to us as it's been a huge issue for many for weeks now. It's all over Reddit too and nobody has any insights. The issue is this An account is doing fine everything is good then for no reason you get a policy violation for "You are no longer eligible for partner monetisation"?? And a strike on the account.... You can't appeal as the button is greyed out and you can't find out what you have done to warrant this 😢 I got it this morning and no idea why or how to fix it. Please help us

it might seems like it, but it's actually just small incremental adjustments to get you to your goal faster ✌️

some accounts don't have it yet. the only thing you can do is wait unfortunately (or upload it to yt shorts and tiktok and see what's going on there)
Keep it consistent, that's the key. Longer reels don't help if your content is not good. Commit to your own style and let your audience find you.

It’s not “the” algorithm. It’s the algorithms. Instagram has 6 plus algorithms. One for each type of content.
